Sowore calls Nigeria Air pre-election propaganda, says it only exists on Facebook

Sowore calls Nigeria Air pre-election propaganda, says it only exists on Facebook
Omoyele Sowore, 2019 presidential aspirant, has criticised the new national carrier, describing it as a propaganda move by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to Sowore, Nigeria Air which was launched in London only exists on Facebook.
The Sahara Reporters publisher made the comments on Monday in Abuja during a meeting with members of the #TakeItBack Movement.
He said: “Nigeria Air doesn’t exist, it was a propaganda overdrive by APC because of the election. There is no any airline registered anywhere known as ‘Nigeria Air’.
“It doesn’t even exist even at the Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) in Abuja. It’s based on Facebook so you can buy your ticket early now and what you need to do to fly that airline is to check in on your Facebook page with Nigeria as your status update and decide to check out whenever you decided to check out.”
Sowore said the government was acting a script of deceit by designing a logo in another country using the Adobe Photoshop editing software.
While commenting on the political developments in the country, Sowore said he was excited over the crises that have befallen the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said the #TakeItBack Movement has now become the real third force.
Sowore said he will announce the political party under which he would contest by the end of July.
He urged the youth not to bow to financial inducement from politicians and cautioned them against mortgaging their future.
“You will be hearing all kinds of discouraging words that we are too young and we have no money, why don’t you go for councillor,” he said.
“All of these things are fizzling out but this time they cannot find another excuse but they will come with another one. They are going to come after us. Don’t be under any illusion that they are going to fold their hands and watch.” - TheCable

Transfer news : Mourinho wants two more Manchester United signings this summer

Jose Mourinho: Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho hopes to sign two new players but is not sure the opportunities will arise.
United have added Brazil midfielder Fred to their squad for the 2018-19 season, along with teenage full-back Diogo Dalot and goalkeeper Lee Grant, who is set to serve as a back-up to David de Gea and Sergio Romero.
Anthony Martial has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, while Harry Maguire, Miralem Pjanic and Ivan Perisic are among United's reported targets.
Although Mourinho was not giving anything away, the United manager hinted he is not fully satisfied with the club's transfer business.
"One thing is what I would like," he told ESPN. "Another thing is what is going to happen.
"I would get two more players."
United's strength in depth could be tested further due to the injury suffered by Antonio Valencia in the friendly draw with San Jose Earthquakes.
Mourinho confirmed the right-back will miss much of the club's pre-season campaign out of precaution, given that Dalot is out until September and Matteo Darmian has been tipped to return to Serie A.
"I don't think he will be available to play any one of the three matches of the International Champions Cup," Mourinho said of Valencia, who is expected to be named Michael Carrick's successor as club captain.
"It's not a moment to take any risks. Antonio is a player that's not a young boy anymore. We have to take care of him and to try to have him ready for the start of the season.
"We bought a fantastic player [in Dalot]: young, 19 years old, but I think probably the best right-back at that age in European football.
"But he had a surgery last May and is recovering for that, so one more reason to take care of Antonio."
United face AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup before a friendly match against Bayern Munich.
They then get the 2018-19 Premier League season underway on August 10 against Leicester City. - Goals
