According to L’Equipe, Chelsea have shown an interest in signing PSG’s Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
Krychowiak looks set to depart PSG after only one season, with PSG boss Unai Emery looking for funds to sign high profile targets such as Alexis Sanchez and Neymar.
Emery announced that the Polish international would be for sale over the weekend. He stated that the 27-year-old had failed to adapt to PSG’s style of play during his short time in Paris. Krychowiak only made 11 league appearances last season, and struggled to show the form that had made PSG sign the midfielder in July 2016.
The amount of interest shown in Krychowiak from Chelsea is as yet unknown, however. No clubs have shown major interest in signing the former Sevilla midfielder so far.
Krychowiak would add depth in the Chelsea midfield. This would be crucial if Nemanja Matic is to depart the club. - Read Sport
