Man forcefully disvirgins girlfriend after agreeing to wait till wedding night

A 29-year-old man, Ajao Olalekan, was on Friday arraigned in an Ikorodu Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, for alleged forceful sexual intercourse with his 19-year-old girlfriend.
Olalekan, the resident of Morayo Benson Street, Ikorodu, is facing a charge of forceful sexual intercourse, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Cpl. John Iberedem, told the court that the accused committed the offence at his residence on March 19, at 2.00 p.m.
“The girl in question (name withheld) was the accused person’s girlfriend, but there was an agreement between them that there won’t be any sexual intercourse until after they are married.
On the day of the incident, the accused invited his girlfriend to his house,  the defendant’s friend was in the sitting room.
''The accused took his girlfriend inside the room, his friend increased the volume of the television, and the accused forcefully deflowered her.
“Investigation revealed that he had planned with his friend to increase the volume of the television when he took her inside.
“It was then she cried out and reported to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, which took up the case, and reported it at the Igbogbo Police Station,” he said.
Iberedem said the offence contravened Section 258 of the Criminal Code Laws of Lagos State, which stipulates life imprisonment for offenders.
The Magistrate, Mrs. Abiodun Shoniyi, granted him bail in the sum of N150,000, with two sureties that must show evidence of three years of tax payment.
Shoniyi adjourned the case until May 11, for trial.

‘My husband wants to use me for ritual’

A fashion designer, Bose Oguntoye, on Friday pleaded with an Agege Customary Court, Lagos, to end her five-year-old marriage, citing her husband’s fetish practices and threats to her life.
“My husband is too money conscious and is desperate to make money at all costs.
“I live in fear of the unknown because of all kinds of charms l see with him.
''He also beats me up at any slightest opportunity, especially when he is not in a good mood, he visits his anger on me,’’ she told the court.
Testifying before Mr Phillips Williams, the court President, she said there was no love lost between them again.
She said, “Sometime in April 2015, when l became pregnant with our second child, my husband placed a charm on me and l became sick and eventually ran mad.
“He took me to somewhere in Matogun, Ikorodu under the pretext of curing me and l was being fed with all sorts of assorted charms.”
The petitioner said that she is still alive today due to the intervention of her family members who came to take her away, when her health was deteriorating.
She said, “I was taken to Ikare in Ondo State where l spent five months, before l became hale and hearty again.”
Bose alleged that when she came back to her matrimonial home, her husband did not relent in his fetish ways.
''He took me to a Muslim cleric who gave me a substance and told me not to get close to my husband for some time.
“On getting home, my husband told me to move to my parent’s house, which l refused. This led to a series of misunderstandings between us.’’
According to the petitioner, the respondent became confrontational with her.
“He told me that he wants to be rich this year under any circumstances. l must build houses and buy cars’’ to which l replied “there is no problem with that, as long as you don’t use me for money rituals.’’
Bose told the court that the respondent used force to collect her two children from her, under the guise of being a police officer.
She said, “They made me write a statement under duress, to release my children and they took them away from me, claiming that l was mentally unstable.
“I had to run for my dear life when l realised he was making serious efforts to use me for money rituals.”
The respondent, Adewale Oguntoye, an indigene of Ondo State, who is resident at No. 4, Oluyomi Olusesi St., Iju-Ishaga, Lagos, however, denied the allegations but was ready for the dissolution of the marriage.
According to the father of two, there has been a frosty relationship between him and his wife since she came up with the idea of going to another church.
Adewale, a resident of No. 4, Oluyomi Olusesi St., Iju-Ishaga, Lagos, claimed that the petitioner had been keeping late nights and would not disclose her whereabouts.
He said, “She started misbehaving, keeping all sorts of friends and became disrespectful to me.’’
Adewale said he suspected his wife was dating the pastor of the church she started attending, even after he vehemently disagreed and warned her not to continue, she remained adamant.
He alleged that the pastor took the petitioner out on Valentine’s Day and bought her different gifts.
The respondent described his wife as an adulterer.
On the allegation of trying to use his wife for money rituals, the respondent denied, but the petitioner remained adamant.
The court’s president later invited the estranged couple to his chambers for a possible resolution of the crisis.
He then adjourned the case until April 20, for hearing.

Wife-beating husband jailed in UK after false cricket contract claim

An abusive husband initially spared prison after telling a court he could lose the offer of a contract with an English county cricket club was jailed for 18 months on Friday.
Mustafa Bashir, 33, was given a suspended sentence at Manchester Crown Court on March 22 for assaulting wife Fakhara Karim.
Judge Richard Mansell was told then that if Bashir was spared custody he would be employed as a professional player by Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
But shortly after Mansell passed his original sentence, Leicestershire said they had never had any contact with Bashir, who was said to have hit his wife with a cricket bat and forced her to drink bleach.
Judge Mansell brought the case back to court on Friday under a rule that allows sentences to be altered if new information comes to light. He revoked Bashir’s suspended sentence and imposed one of immediate custody
The judge said Bashir had “not a shred of evidence” to support his Leicestershire contract claims, effectively dismissing an argument from his defence that a “typographical error” in an agent’s letter had led to confusion over his cricket status.
Sending Bashir down, he told him: “You were clearly making a claim to the court you had a career in professional cricket ahead of you, which was false.
“You made that quite clearly in the hope you would avoid a prison sentence.
“There’s not a shred of evidence you were ever chosen to play for Leicestershire County Cricket Club, let alone you had received any offer of a full-time contract.
Bashir played as a semi-professional in the Bolton Cricket League and on two occasions had indeed had net session practice with Leicestershire — who denied any knowledge of him.

 -‘Plainly vulnerable’ -

Judge Mansell told Bashir he was not now resentencing him for “lying to the court”, but added: “You may well face investigation into whether you have committed quite separate offences of perverting the course of justice.”
Bashir was also given a restraining order not to approach his wife.
After the original case concluded, Judge Mansell was widely criticised for reportedly saying that wife Karim’s status as “an intelligent” and university-educated woman made her less vulnerable than other abuse victims.
However, the judge said Friday he regarded Karim as “plainly vulnerable”
''I am concerned that the misreporting and misunderstanding of my remarks may have given Miss Karim the impression that I did not believe her account as to the effect these offences have had on her, that I did not consider her to be vulnerable,” he added.
Meanwhile Leicestershire chief executive Wasim Khan expressed his satisfaction with the “fitting punishment” now imposed on Bashir.
“We were horrified at being used as a means for someone who had been convicted of appalling violence to his wife to escape imprisonment,” Khan said.
“His new sentence of 18 months in prison is a much more fitting punishment for what he did and good news for the fight against domestic violence.”

Nigerian Husband Arrested By Switzerland Lady After Discovering He Has 14 Other Women

As shared by a Facebook user identified as Kingsley Ughe...

"MEET CHRISTOPHER EHIFOH ALIAS CHRISTOPHER A.J. BENARD, WHO STALKS, PREYS AND DECEIVES WOMEN IN THE NAME OF MARRIAGE:

His real name is Christopher Ehifoh.. But he operates under different aliases. His most recent alias is Christopher A.J Bernard.

He is from Edo state, precisely Obedu in Uromi.. Age is between 45 to 49 but he claims to be 35 to unwary victims.

He lives in Pratteln, Switzerland. where he is married to a white lady, Tanja, a hard working nurse.

Christopher is unemployed and unemployable in Switzerland partly because of educational status and more because of his immigration status.

Tanja works and runs the bill at home. Christopher cooks and tends the home while Tanja works herself to death as Nurse to pick the bills at home and save some money for Christopher to occasionally send to Africa.

Tanja has four children for this master of deceit: Alain, Laura, Nicholas and Mary. All of them are on Facebook.

The eldest son is 18 years. The twin girls are in their 16 while Nicholas, the last child is 14.

Christopher is a serial philander and an unrepented womaniser. However , his own womanising is of the most dangerous strain.

Christopher actually lures young unwary girls into marriages , bed then and run away to Switzerland while changing his sim cards immediately. To achieve this, he is always in Nigeria every year after deceiving Tanja that he is exploring investment potentials for both of them in Nigeria.

He is dangerous and reputed to have conducted marriage ceremonies with three ladies in Delta, Lagos and Benin within one year.

Since the past ten years, Christopher has married more than 10 to 12 women here in Nigeria in elaborate wedding ceremonies.

His mode of operation is simple, he comes with stories of how he left Nigeria as a young man after the death of his parents. He would spin a tale that would require the female victim to accept a wedding plan with Christopher hirelings as family.

Christopher is a habitual liar who invent falsehoods not to gain any end or even to deceive his victims, but to amuse himself. It is partly practice and partly habit. It requires an effort in him to speak truth. That is exactly the case of Christopher Ehifoh alias Christopher A.J.Bernard.

They would come in motorcades and pay the bride price of the girl involved. He would bed the girl throughout his stay and take her to his house in Uromi where he would abandoned the girl. Until his family ....mostly his younger brothers who largely depend on him for sustainance will throw the poor girl out.

In other occasion, Mr. Philanderer would actually rent a cheap apartment. Furnish it sparsely and take his supposed new bride there. He would romp with her until such a time he would be leaving the country back to his Switzerland. Upon arrival, he changes his sim card and that would be it. No thought for the abandoned girl or her family.

Recently Christopher took matters to a dizzying height when he married two ladies within the same year. One of the ladies is from the same Edo state with Mr. Philanderer, while the other is from Delta state.

Somewhat and ironically, Christopher wanted to actually "settle" with the Edo girl. He organised an elaborate wedding and invited even his real family this time. That was two months after he did another elaborate traditional wedding in Delta state with a Lady he abandoned in her father's house....Esther.

The Edo girl ,contrary to Christopher's instructions published and displayed all her wedding pictures with Christopher on her Facebook page.

All hell broke loose. So far, about 14 women have surfaced to identify Christopher as their "husband"with evidence to back it up.

Tanja got wind of all these development and promptly contacted JLAA and through JLAA's help got Christopher to run out of Nigeria. He resurfaced in Switzerland and was promptly arrested and locked up for various offences bothering on advance fee fraud, bigamy and criminal deceit.

Back here , JLAA is busy compiling records and names of victims. There are some of the ladies with whom he contracted marriages under the Marriage Act, laws of the federation of Nigeria. That has its own implications too.

A law suit awaits him when the Swiss authority are done with him and he is deportee to Nigeria. His last wife has taken possession of his car and some house hold properties he left in Nigeria here in a house they both lived as husband and wife. To our chagrin, Christopher family are coming forward to threaten the poor girl that she must surrender the car and house hold items otherwise they would go place a "curse on her".

JLAA has taken steps to protect the lady involved. Petition has been written to IG office and law suit has been filed. The other unlucky " wives" must move on and be happy that this criminal will face the law at the end of the day.

Please share to warn all about the extent people can go to get in between a lady's legs."

Nigerian boy bathes girl with acid on her birthday thinking it's a disinfectant in Oshodi

A 14-year-old girl's birthday celebration turned tragic after a male friend of hers emptied a bottle of acid on her, thinking it was a popular strong disinfectant known as Izal. Victoria Emmanuel had left her home in Mafoluku, Oshodi, to fetch water somewhere around the night market close by when the incident occurred on March 21.

The victim was met by her friends on her way to the tap and they began to pour water on her in celebration. Some poured dirty water on her, some poured sand. Soon after, the culprit Moshood Yusuf, 13, arrived then he entered a shop, picked a bottle and emptied the content on Victoria even after she warned him not to. She fainted soon after and was taken to the hospital. Parents of the boy have been going to plead with the parents of the victim and have constantly shown their support.

Speaking to The Nation, Victoria, who is currently recovering, narrated what transpired and revealed that though Moshood insists it was a mistake, another friend, Ganiyu, told her he had said he would hurt her .

“It was my birthday. I had told my friends the previous Monday that Wednesday, March 29 was my birthday. So, when I went to fetch water at the night market that night, those who came to my house to rejoice with me followed me," she narrated to The Nation.

“I was carrying a big bucket on my head but on the road, they put it down and started pouring the water on me to celebrate my birthday. Some were pouring dirty water on me and others sand. That was how Moshood ran into a shop and brought out a container. There was something inside and I told him not to pour it on me because we don’t know what was in it. He opened it, smelled it and said it smelt like chemical. We told him again that he shouldn’t pour that on me but he didn’t listen. As I walked past him, he poured the content on my body from behind. I screamed and ran towards the tap but he got there before me and opened it so that water would pour on my body.

“While I was under the tap, the woman who owns the place chased us away that I was wasting her water, though she owed me N70. That was the last thing I remembered. I was later told that I fainted and was rushed to Edmark Hospital. I was discharged in the evening of the following day because my daddy insisted he wanted to take me to General Hospital. So, I was moved to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) where they have been giving me treatment.

“Moshood was arrested by policemen from Makinde but he was later released. He has not come to see me since then but his parents have been coming. We didn’t fight. We have never quarrelled. He’s my friend. I don’t know what happened. Although, one Ganiyu claimed that he told him he was going to hurt me, I don’t know if that’s true.

“They said they have asked him where he got acid from but he insisted he thought it was Izal that was inside. He said he was looking for a container to enable him carry more water and pour on me. But the shop owner has denied keeping any acid in her shop. The woman was crying and swearing that she didn’t keep anything like that since she has little children, who could have easily gotten to it.”

Victoria's mother, Mrs. Chidinma Emmanuel, wondered if her daughter's skin will ever heal and said she is not interested in pressing charges but needs the family of the boy to help financially as her daughter's treatment has cost her family so much and has affected her petty trade.

“His parents have been coming. They have extended solidarity but I think it shouldn’t just be by words of mouth. You can see that we are a struggling family.  This unfortunate incident has cost us so much. There’s a drug we have been buying N1,200 per sachet to apply on her body.

“I expect that Moshood’s family would support us financially or pick the bills, since all the children there said he was told to not pour the content on my daughter but he went ahead to do it. So far, we haven’t heard anything from them. Yes, they paid the N16,000 we were charged at Edmark the night the incident happened. After that, they haven’t done anything again. If they are coming for settlement, the only settlement is for them to pay all expenses incurred.”

Menwhile, Moshood’s mother, Mrs. Ganiyat Yusuf, has expressed her sympathy for the family and described the incident as a mistake.

She said to The Nation: “It was just a mistake. In fact, Moshood also got burnt by the acid on his chest and leg. He didn’t know the content of the bottle and since they were jubilating, he poured it on her without knowing. It’s a regrettable mistake. But what we want is for peace to reign. We don’t want a situation where both families would start fighting over it or the two children becoming enemies.”

The lady further said she has learned so much during her time of recovery, adding that time is the greatest teacher.

Read what she wrote below: "When I first got burned I made the decision to be honest and open about recovery mentally and physically. I made it my business to share my experience because I learned that so many more people in this world struggled with accepting themselves whether it was internal or external scarring. I never wanted people to think this was easy but I also didn't want them to think this was something they couldn't overcome. These 8 months have been a rollercoaster. My world was changing and I had to catch up. In my eyes I wanted things to move faster than they was. Time and time again the people around me would stress the importance of being patient! Time is a great teacher and life never goes as planned. 8 months later I've learned to trust time. Things won't usually go how we imagine or when we expected but the timing is always right. When we least expect it our lives can change and if we are patient enough to learn the lessons being taught, it can become a beautiful experience. #burnsurvivor” People who have survived an accident or any form of physical pain usually struggle with mental, physical and emotional trauma.

Wife of Former President Obasanjo claims her twin brother and future daughter-in-law are in collusion to assassinate her

Wife of Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mrs Taiwo Obasanjo claims that her twin brother, Chief Kenny Martins, her future-daughter-in-law, Tope Adebutu ( daughter of lotto boss, Baba Ijebu) and future mother-in-law, Ms Rosemary Dacosta, hired certain people to assassinate her after a court action she filed last month to postpone her son’s wedding.
In a petition to the Commissioners of Police, Lagos State, which was dated 4 April, 2017, Mrs Obasanjo alleged:

” I was reliably informed that the three person mentioned above have perfected their plans to assassinate me because I requested the court to shift the wedding date of my son from the month of May to June 2017. Please continue....

Mrs Obasanjo’s petition to the Police Commissioner, Lagos

“Chief Kenny Martins is the leader of the planned assassination on my life. Sir, I am reporting this issue so that you can please use your good office to step in to the situation because there is a deep strange desperation attached to the wedding of my son which is now do or die wedding ceremony for them.”

When contacted, Chief Martins declined to comment on the petition, saying he was not aware of any petition by anybody against him.

“I don’t have any petition from the police on my table so I don’t react to what is not before me,” he said.

“I don’t wanted to listen to anybody. I have no say on what is happening because I don’t know anybody. Thank you so much and bye bye,”
