I am not surprised with supreme court's decision on Saraki. Some people saw it coming.

Based on available records on saraki's background and padded life history I will not hesitate to say this that Saraki is as guilty as charged in the court of public opinion and jungle justice like a pick pocket caught and burnt openly in Abuja market.

Let him come out clean and present to us A to Z of his life in black and white regarding his activities/roles at the following places.... Society Generale bank, trade bank, his eight years tenure at the helms of affairs in Kwara, intercontinental bank, his hidden offshore activities at Panama, Paris club refund and his current activities at the senate.

Some questions that needed answers are

What is his net worth before joining politics and how did he come about it ???

Where are his real investments ???

Why did SGB fold up ???

Why is hiding money in Panama ???

Why has he not declared all his assets ???

Why is he after intercontinental bank ???

What is his business with Paris club refund ???

Why did he pad his assets declaration form ???

Why is he operating secret cult system in the senate ???

Please don't come and bamboozle us with your fabricated sarakonda rice and all rest if and when you are responding especially when you are campaigning on your dead on arrival presidential ambition.

Fulani Herdsman kill police inspector in Kebbi

A herdsman identified as Babuga Kuaara has killed a policeman in Umaru Danladi, Kaoge in Bagudo local government area of Kebbi state.

The Kebbi command of the Nigeria police force confirmed this on Thursday.

The deceased officer was reportedly attached to the Kaoje police division in Bagudo local government area.

A farmer had reported Kuaara to the police after cows belonging to the herdsman allegedly destroyed his farm.

A witness, who craved for anonymity, told reporters that the late officer was asked to arrest the herder who was still wandering with his cattle within the area.

“The police officer who came with his riffle, arrested the suspect, but as he was taking him to the waiting patrol vehicle, the herder drew his machete and stabbed the officer on his neck,” the witness said.

“We saw the officer groaning in pains and bleeding but he died before we could apply first aid.

“The herder was overpowered by officers who rushed to the scene.”

Mustapha Suleiman, police public relations officer (PPRO) in the state, told journalists that the suspect had been arrested.

“We have arrested the herder, Babuga Kuaara, for killing the officer. He had confessed to the crime and will be prosecuted accordingly,” Suleiman said. - Cable Nigeria

Transfer news : Real Madrid to reignite interest in Chelsea 'keeper Courtois

Real Madrid are still interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois according to reports, with the Blues valuing their player at €50million (£44.1million).

That is according to El Confidencial, as cited by Calciomercato, who claim that it will not be as difficult a financial situation for the clubs to overcome as previously reported.
This seems extremely unlikely, with Courtois one of the brightest stars at the Blues’ disposal.

At just 26-years old, Courtois has his best years ahead of him, and Chelsea are unlikely to sell for a price so low that they couldn’t appropriately replace the Belgian with.

Thunderstorm kills motorcyclist, two others in Ogun

Three persons, including a motorcyclist, were struck dead in Ijebu -Ode, Ogun State, by a thunderstorm on Thursday followings hours – long torrential rain that pounded the ancient town.

The victims who were in their twenties had been ridding on a motorcycle  and elected to take cover  in a solitary building along the former Gateway hotel annex  situating few  metres away from the residence of an ex –  Governor of the state,  pending when the rain subsides but the  accompanying thunderstorm,  struck three of them dead.

It was learnt that the heavy thunderstorm  hit the three simultaneously but a fourth person was lucky, and having been unaffected by the lethal impact, he fled the scene.

A sympathizer, Ridwan, identified one of the deceased as Ayo  and hailed from Imomo-Ijebu in ijebu North East Local Government Area of the state.

The Ayo is said to be  a motorcyclist and also repair fans.

The Nation gathered that a crowd of sympathizers and curiouser gathered at the scene to have a glimpse of the tragic incident, but nobody was willing to help evacuate the victims because of the superstitious belief attached to death by thunderstorm.

Even members of the Nigerian Police who visited the scene, could neither remove  the remains of the victims nor touch a bag said to belong to them. - The Natiom

Rooney has gone into more depth regarding his Everton departure this summer for MLS outfit DC United.

Having only rejoined Everton last summer after 13 years away at Manchester United, the 32-year old departed Goodison Park once again this summer to link up with Washington D.C. based DC United.

Initially, the former England captain claimed that his reasons for leaving the club would be revealed in time, and now he has broken down the situation over his departure.

My husband used me for money ritual – Wife tells court

A Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, on Thursday, dissolved a 32-year-old marriage between one Aina Adeniji and her husband, Adebayo, over alleged ritual.

The plaintiff, Aina, a resident of Oke-Ado area of Ibadan, alleged that her husband had used her for money ritual.

“My Lord, it was late before I realised that Adebayo had used me for money ritual.

“All of a sudden, he stopped coming home regularly and when he does occasionally, it is to complete his ritual on me.

“Adebayo turned our bathroom into a shrine, I mean, a gory site for all sorts of sacrificial objects.

“Out of fear, I had to convert my bedroom into bathroom and kitchen because of charms everywhere.

“Then, he goes to the bathroom to chant incantations every morning.

“Before having sexual intercourse with me one day, Adebayo used a razor blade to make an incision on his manhood.

“Ever since then, I have not been myself because blood had not stopped flowing from my private parts.

“Besides, he has married another wife outside our matrimonial home.

“The house in which we live, however, belongs to both of us,” Aina said.

But the respondent, who consented to the divorce, denied the allegations levelled against him.

Adebayo, a retired civil servant, said his wife had on 10 previous occasions packed out of his house, giving flimsy excuses.

“As a beer addict, a pastor had told me to perform some prayers in form of ritual to tackle my addiction to beer.

“I never put any mark on my manhood to sleep with Aina.

“She has been a cancer patient, so Aina has been bleeding through her private parts probably due to cancer.

“I am the sole owner of the house because I provided everything concerning it, but Aina was monitoring during construction.

“When she started preventing me from having sex with her, I got a lady that could fulfil my sexual desire outside,” Adebayo said.

Ruling on the matter, the President of the court, Chief Ademola Odunade, said the spouses should be wary of their actions before destroying their marriage.

Gunmen kidnap Chinese man in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of a Chinese man, Mr Ren Dajun by suspected gunmen.

The command spokesman, SP Muhammad Shehu, in a statement on Thursday in Gusau, said Dajun “is a staff of the China Geological Cooperation (CGC).’’

Shehu said the company is located at Birnin-Tudu village in Bakura Local Government Area of the state,

He said the victim was abducted by gunmen on Wednesday at about 2p.m. in a bush of Irrigation Scheme in Amumu Village of the same local government area.

The PPRO said the command’s search/rescue team and Anti-kidnapping Squad had embarked on coordinated bush combing with a view to rescue the victim and arrest the assailants.

“The command wishes to advise the citizens to be conscious of their security and report strange and suspicious elements in their areas”, he said.

Shehu also urged communities to assist the police and other security agencies with useful information on security threats in their areas. - Daily Post

Sowore On CUPP: I Will Never Be Part Of Any Coalition With These Corrupt And Morally Bankrupt Parties

Presidential aspirant Omoyele Sowore says he is not so desperate to win and will, therefore, never be part of any coalition that includes corrupt and morally bankrupt parties.

According to a statement my his media team, the TakeItBack movement, Sowore said this in reaction to the recent merger of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 37 other political parties to form the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).

Sowore described the PDP and the APC (or the R-APC) as two sides of the same bad coin, noting that for almost two decades, these two parties have been responsible for unbridled corruption and rapacious damage to Nigeria’s economy and her moral fabric.

"Earlier this week, 39 political parties and movements led by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) announced the formation of a Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) to wrest power from the Buhari led APC in 2019," read the statement, signed by Malcolm Fabiyi, Director-General of the TakeitBack Movement.

"From the outset, the TakeItBack movement has made it clear that what we seek is a complete transformation of the Nigerian political process. The solution to Nigeria’s problems cannot be found with the same parties and persons who created and contributed to those challenges in the first place.

"The PDP and the APC (or the R-APC) are two sides of the same bad coin. For almost two decades, these two parties have been responsible for unbridled corruption and rapacious damage to Nigeria’s economy and her moral fabric.  The solution to Nigeria’s challenges cannot be found with any of these parties, or in any coalition of the desperate, that they put together.

"The TakeitBack movement and our convener, Omoyele Sowore, cannot and will never be part of any coalition that includes these corrupt and morally bankrupt parties. We are NOT so desperate to win that we would sacrifice our integrity, or the trust of the Nigerian people.

We are committed to towing the path of honor – however lonely and challenging that path might be.
