Photos : Man arrested for stabbing wife to death in public market



A jealous man who allegedly stabbed his estranged wife to death in front of terrified shoppers on Monday night has been arrested according to the police.

The ex repeatedly attacked and stabbed Zin War Yea, 35 with a long knife, six times outside a mobile phone shop in front many shoppers.

According to eyewitnesses the man dropped by the market and bought a knife before the murder.
The attack took place at a community market in Phetchaburi’s Khao Yoi district, Thailand.
The suspect identified as her former husband, Aung Thu, was caught red-handed while attacking the victim, by patrol police officer.


“He then met Zin War Yea in front of the mobile phone shop, began a heated argument and then allegedly attacked her.

“She fell to the ground and he allegedly placed one foot on her chest while stabbing her repeatedly.
“The victim’s body had six major stab wounds,” police said.




Police preliminary investigation revealed that Aung Thu was a jealous man who frequently assaulted Zin War Yea before they separated.
The suspect is being interrogated, pending legal processing, Asia News Reported.

Shocking !!! Herbalist caught with human skull in Ife


Herbalist, identified as Adeniyi Adeyeye has been caught with a human skull, Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State.

The Commissioner of Police in Osun,
Fimihan Adeoye said Adeyeye was arrested by his men in Ipetumodu following a tip-off.
He made this known while briefing journalists in Osogbo on Tuesday.
The Police commissioner said the command was still investigating the matter, adding that “the suspect would be charged to court soon.”

The suspect, while being interviewed by journalists first claimed that one Akin, who was living in his house brought the skull and he (Adeyeye) sent him packing based on this.
He said he was surprised that policemen later came to arrest him with the skull.

The man reportedly changed his story line when he was confronted that he wanted to make money ritual for a client.

Again one couple, Mr and Mrs Imafidon Ototie were on Monday found dead in their apartment at Ikpoba-Okha local government area of Edo State.

It was reported that they were killed by fumes from a generator placed at the corridor of the deceased’s room.



He raised alarm when he returned home on Monday morning and discovered that his parents were yet to get up from the bed.
Their bodies were discovered by one of their sons, simply identified as Bright, who did not sleep at home on the day of the incident, ITV Benin reported.

He told the reporter : “I have warned them to put off the generator but they didn’t listen to me.

“It is like a spirit told me to leave the house and I left. I came back and saw the door locked so I raised alarm.” - Daily Post

Former President’s son sent to 24-years in jail for drug trafficking



 The son of former Honduran President, Fabio Lobo, has been sentenced to 24 years in an American prison for conspiring to smuggle cocaine and sell it in the United States.

A U.S. District Judge Lorna G. Schofield also fined him $50,000 and ordered him to forfeit $267,000.

The judge said Lobo had used his connections and abused his position as the son of a former head of state to seek to profit through drug trafficking.
“The hefty punishment for Fabio Lobo was meant as a warning to corrupt members of Latin America’s political elite,” Schofield said.
According to Seattle Times, Fabio Lobo pleaded guilty in May 2016, admitting he worked with drug traffickers and Honduran police to ship cocaine into the United States.

He was arrested in Haiti in 2015 in a joint operation by US anti-narcotics agents and Haitian police.
His father, Porfirio Lobo, who served as president of Honduras between 2010 and 2014, did not defend his eldest son after his arrest, instead saying that Fabio Lobo had to answer the accusations against him.

OMG !!! Four UBA bank officials arrested over armed robbery attack


The Police Command in Delta state has arrested the Cash Management Officer, Amina Oyewole ‘f’, the Chief Security Officer and two Drivers of the United Bank for Africa, UBA Branch 1 in Asaba over an armed robbery attack between Otulu/Ubulu-Okiti along Asaba-Benin Expressway on Tuesday September 1according Daily post reports.


In a statement signed by the state acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka and made available to DAILY POST, the arrests of the four suspects followed a preliminary investigation into the attack which revealed that, in a bid to cut corners, the bank officials illegally picked seven police officers from different locations, yet to be determined, and engaged them on an illegal escort for the conveyance of the sum of twenty-five million naira from its branch in Agbor to Asaba without using a serviceable, secure armored bullion van as required by law.

The Delta Police Command claimed that when the bank officials earlier approached the Operations Department of the Command for escort, their request was turned down on the grounds that the bank does not have a serviceable bullion van needed for such operations.
“Sadly, during the attack, one of the police escorts was fatally injured by the armed robbers who also emptied the twenty-five million naira (N25, 000,000.00) into their cars – a Honda Pilot Jeep and Toyota Corolla, Registration numbers unknown, and escaped.”

The State Police Command warned that henceforth banks requiring police escort must adhere to laid down regulations on special escort, especially during the ”ember” months.
Furthermore, the command assured the public that fleeing armed robbers will be apprehended and brought to justice.


32-year-old man pleads guilty to raping 8-year-old girl in court


A Grade 1 Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday reserved judgment after a man, Ayuba Salihu, pleaded guilty for raping an eight-year-old girl.

The accused, who had no fixed address, was arraigned on a charge of rape.

Mr Abdullahi Mayaki, the prosecutor for the State Child Rights Protection Agency, told the court that the incident occurred on Aug. 31 near Gwari Market in Chanchaga Local Government Area.

The prosecutor told the court that the accused lured the unsuspecting primary school pupil with N100 into an hidden place before assaulting her sexually.

The offense was said to have  contravened Section 18, sub-section 2 of Niger State Child Rights Law which attracts life imprisonment.

The chief Magistrate, Hassan Mohammed, who convicted the accused as charged, adjourned the judgment hearing till Sept. 12.

25-year-old socialite allegedly stabs herself to death



A South African socialite, Lebohang Mathuloe has been found dead at Pecanwood Estate, Hartbeespoort, North West South Africa where she reportedly stabbed herself to death.

After the news of Lebohang’s death broke, a photo she had taken with BidVest Wits coach Gavin Hunt started circulating on social media, alongside messages of condolences to her family.

The death of the beautiful lady has resulted into confusion as some claimed Mathuloe was killed by her boyfriend, although the cops said she died from her wounds after stabbing herself.

A close source said Lebohang had been dating a white man for some time.

“She was always posting nice photos of her having a good time. She seemed happy and we don’t know what could have caused the argument we believe led to her death.”
Reacting to the incident, the man, who said he knew Lebohang denied having a relationship with her.

 Sergeant Kelebogile Molepo, a police spokeswoman, said an inquest docket has been opened.
