Usmanov in £1bn Arsenal bid
Alisher Usmanov has made a £1bn bid to buy out the majority shareholder at Arsenal, according to Sky sources.
It is understood Stan Kroenke has yet to formally respond to the offer, which was initially reported by the Financial Times, but it is expected he will reject it.
Usmanov currently owns a stake of just over 30 per cent in the club and has a personal fortune of around £11.2bn.
Kroenke, who also owns the NFL's Los Angeles Rams, has been Arsenal's majority shareholder since 2011.
The American increased his shareholding - through his company Kroenke Sports Enterprise - to 67.05 per cent of the club with a purchase of 23 ordinary shares in May 2016.
Usmanov recently stated his belief that Arsene Wenger should begin the process of identifying the club's next manager, describing the long-serving manager as Arsenal's "main symbol" and "main asset."
"Some continuity is needed," Usmanov said in comments reported by Bloomberg last month. "This includes the need to prepare a successor for Wenger, but in a very respectful way.
"I can suggest that Wenger himself can prepare a successor."
Court dissolves 23-year-old marriage between banker, bricklayer
A 23-year-old marriage between Azeez Adeshina, a bricklayer, and his wife, Oluwatoyin, a banker, was on Friday dissolved on the orders of an Ikorodu Customary Court in Lagos State on the grounds of the wife’s desertion.
The 40-year-old husband had told the court that his wife left their matrimonial home 10 years ago because he caught her red-handed with a man.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adeshina, who resides at Ikorodu, had approached the court, asking it to dissolve the marriage which has produced three children.
“I caught my wife red-handed with different men at different times and she left the house because I accused her of adultery.
“She also threatened my life, I want this court to dissolve the marriage,” he said.
However, Oluwatoyin, a 40-year-old banker, who did not deny her husband’s claims, also agreed to the dissolution of the marriage.
The Acting President of the court, Mr Adeniyi Popoola, pronounced the union dissolved, saying the effort to reconcile the couple had failed.
“The marriage is hereby dissolved based on irreconcilable differences and the fact that they have parted ways a long time ago.”
He, however, awarded the custody of the last two children of ages 11 and 12 to the woman.
“This marriage is terminated and the husband should pay N150,000 as rent to the wife for their accommodation.
“The husband should also pay the sum of N15,000 feeding allowance monthly through the court and should also be responsible for medical expenses and their education.
“The first child aged 19 should, however, decide whoever she wants to live with.
“Visitation right is granted to the husband at the reasonable time of the day on any agreed date he wants to see the children,” the president said.
Police arrest herdsman for raping woman on her farm
Police at Agogo in the Ashanti Region have arrested a herdsman for raping a woman on a farm. Thirty-two-year-old Abubakari Aliu allegedly chased the lady with a machete, overpowered and forcibly had sex with her farm at nearby Nsonyameye.
He fled after committing the alleged crime and left the 19-year-old victim to her fate in the bush. Clashes between herdsmen and natives and other residents in the Agogo Area over the years have turned bloody and left in their trail a lot of casualties.
Natives accuse the nomads and their marauding cattle of destroying farms as well as committing murder, rape and other crimes that leave locals devastated.
Many rape victims hardly report their ordeal for due to stigmatization and of collapsing their relationships.
Assembly member for Ananekrom, Peter Abaje believes the people of Agogo have been vindicated of rape claims.
Mr Abaje said the latest victim is, however, one of the few to have the courage to report to police after first informing him.
She had arrived in the area from the Northern region less than a month ago when she suffered the abuse.
Her sister-in-law who was with her managed to escape and raised an alarm in the Nsonyameye Community. An intervention, led by the Odikro and some youth came late after the herdsmen had bolted after the act.
The traumatized lady is yet to come to terms with the incident and has refused to eat.
“She was crying the whole of the day. It is very difficult for her because she got married about a year ago so she was thinking about how the husband will feel when he hears what has happened," Mr. Abaje said.
The victim has since been treated and discharged at the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital.
A team of police investigators however visited the scene to retrieve the woman’s tattered underwear and broken beads as investigation begins.
Women in the community say their anxiety has now heightened as the victim demands justice.

Nigerian man arrested in India with $1.4m worth of cocaine
A Nigerian, identified as Eneh Wilfried Amobi, has been arrested in India for allegedly possessing cocaine worth $1.4m at a suburban railway station in Mumbai.
The Indian newspaper, The Hindustan Times said a team from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) caught him after a tip-off by a ticket checker.
According to an official, Wilfried Amobi, 47, was caught with a large quantity of contraband.
“Wilfried said he was as a tourist and as he wanted $200 to return home, he offered to smuggle the drug,” Kumar Sanjay Jha, NCB zonal director, Mumbai and Goa region told HT. The drugs weighing 1.3kg was to be delivered to someone in the city, an official said.
The drugs were concealed in courier packets and were in his bag.
“As foreign nationals are asked to show passports even for domestic flights, couriers prefer trains,” said Jha.
The agency said Amobi was one among the many couriers entrusted by a city-based cartel to smuggle the drugs into the city.
“We suspect that at least four people were involved. The packets changed hands at various railway stations to dodge authorities,” said Jha.
According to the police, the suspects booked tickets in first class AC, second AC and AC 3 tier.
According to a source, Amobi got down from the Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani Express and was about to take a local train. A ticket checker stopped him and asked for a ticket. NCB said it was all part of a trap to buy time after which Wilfried was caught.
According to the NCB, cocaine is a higher class party drug, which is in huge demand. It is costly and used to enhance sexual performance, stated the agency. NCB suspects that the gang has their presence in other cities as well where the drug is being circulated through local peddlers.
In a report on 9 May, the Hindustan Times also reported that Nigerians topped the list of foreigners arrested for drug smuggling in Navi Mumbai over the past five years.
According to the sources from the anti-narcotic cell of Navi Mumbai police, a total of 66 narcotic related cases were registered between 2012 and April, this year in the city. Nigerian nationals were involved in 14 of these cases, the police said.
Since 2012, the police have arrested 14 foreign nationals for smuggling drugs to the city and 13 of them were from Nigeria, while one was from Ghana.
Barely a week ago, the police arrested one Nigerian from Kopar Khairane who had come to sell mephedrone rock and powder. Around 25 gramme of the drug in powder form and 85 gramme in rock form collectively worth Rs 3.30 lakh was seized from his possession.
As far as foreign nationals are concerned, several Bangladeshis were also arrested in the city for different crimes. But they were mainly into fake currency notes scam, cheating, theft and robbery. None of them was arrested for trading drugs.
Tushar Doshi, deputy commissioner of police (special branch) said, “When it comes to drug smuggling by foreign nationals, by and large, all the criminals are from Africa in general and from Nigeria in particular. The number of foreign nationals including those from Africa has also increased in the city over the past two years.” - NAN

Last City game is a final - Manchester City Manager
Pep Guardiola has described Manchester City's last Premier League game of the season, against Watford, as being "like a final".
Guardiola spoke earlier this week about how his performance this season would have led to him being sacked at his former clubs Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
The Spanish coach will end the campaign without a trophy for the first time in his career and is fully aware of the pressure on his players going into their last game of the 2016-17 campaign.
"We've dropped a lot of points at home but we still have 95, 96 minutes to fight," said Guardiola. "It's so important for the club, for the future, being in the Champions League.
"So, it is a crucial game for us, a final, absolutely a final for us. And of course it is in our hands, it depends on us.
"We have to win the game. Every game is a pressure but it is in our hands. It's not depending on Arsenal or Liverpool, it's in our control.
"This is a real final for us and we have to have a real focus on that. We have to talk about the present and not about what might happen next season."
Rolf Harris released from Stafford Prison
According to Sky News, former TV star Rolf Harris has been released from jail after nearly three years, Sky News understands.
He was sentenced to five years and nine months in July 2004.
The 87-year-old will remain on bail while on trial at Southwark Crown Court where he is charged with indecent assault.
Previously Harris has appeared via videolink from Stafford Prison.
Harris is accused of indecently assaulting three teenage girls in the 1970s and 1980s.
It is also alleged that the former host of Animal Hospital touched a 13-year-old girl's breast after filming a children's TV show and asked her: "Do you often get molested on a Saturday morning?"
Harris is separately accused of groping a third girl aged 16 twice after appearing on the ITV celebrity show Star Games in 1978.
He denies four charges of indecent assault against three women between 1971 and 1983.
The trial will resume on Monday
Painting sells for world record $110.5 million
A 1982 painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat sold Thursday for $110.5 million, the highest price paid at auction for a work by an American artist.
It is also a world record price ever paid for contemporary work of art.
Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa purchased Basquiat’s painting “Untitled,” which first sold for $19,000 in 1984.
“I am happy to announce that I just won this masterpiece,” Maezawa said on Instagram. “When I first encountered this painting, I was struck with so much excitement and gratitude for my love of art. I want to share that experience with as many people as possible.”
The 41-year-old Japanese fashion entrepreneur set the previous record for a Basquiat piece, paying $57.3 million for a painting of a horned devil last year.
He plans to loan the painting to institutions and exhibitions around the world before making it the centerpiece of a museum he plans to open in his hometown of Chiba.
“I hope it brings as much joy to others as it does to me, and that this masterpiece by the 21-year-old Basquiat inspires our future generations,” Maezawa said in a statement.
Only 10 other works have sold for more than $100 million. “Untitled” is the first work made after 1980 to sell for more than $100 million and fetched the sixth highest price ever for a work of fine art. It tops the $105 million paid in 2013 for Andy Warhol’s “Silver Car Crash (Double Disaster).”
Basquiat, a native New Yorker, had been an artist for just seven years when he died in 1988 of a heroin overdose at 27.
“Breaking $100 million for a work which is that recent is definitely extraordinary,” said Gregoire Billault, head of contemporary art at Sotheby’s. “I think it just speaks about the talent of this guy. It’s just pure emotion. He’s bringing something never seen before.”
Ajax should not be in the Europa League – Mourinho
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho does not believe Europa League final opponents Ajax should even be in the competition.
The two teams meet next Wednesday in Stockholm with UEFA’s second biggest club trophy up for grabs.
But Mourinho disagrees with the system that sees sides drop out of the Champions League – like Ajax did in the play-off round – and join the Europa League along with clubs like United who start off in the tournament.
“They are a Champions League team, they come from the Champions League,” Mourinho told reporters ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game at home to Crystal Palace.
“I always disagree with it, I don’t think a team should play in two European competitions in the same season.
“I think if a team goes to the Champions League and doesn’t qualify they should go home.
“The Europa League is for team who have been in it since the beginning, like us. We finished fifth and went to the Europa League.”
Despite disagreeing with the qualification method, Mourinho praised Ajax’s quality and feels no one should be shocked by their progress.
“I wasn’t surprised, I really don’t know why you are surprised they reached the final,” he said.
“The age of players isn’t important, the quality is important. I think Ajax make the right investments at the right times.
Kaka: Why Neymar is my favorite player
“Ajax has a very good scouting and education system. These talented players don’t arrive at Ajax by accident.
“I don’t know [Ajax boss Peter Bosz] too well, but when I see Ajax play I think he has done fantastic work.”

Mourinho: I won't make mistakes in my second season
Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho insists he will not make mistakes in his second season at Manchester United now that he knows the club better from the inside.
But they have struggled in the Premier League and will finish sixth regardless of their result in Sunday's home match against Crystal Palace – meaning the Europa League represents their last chance to reach next season's Champions League.
Mourinho stressed that the first season at any new club is always difficult, but is more optimistic about 2017-18 after what he has learned this term.
"I try to analyse the realities before I arrived in the club, but you only know the reality when you are inside," Mourinho told Omnisport.
"The first season is hard. I enjoy the second because in the second I know I'm not making mistakes.
"You think you know the players, but you don't. You only know them when you have them in good moments and bad moments. The one I really enjoy to do is the transition from the first to the second season."
Mourinho feels fully supported by the board as he looks to make further additions to United's squad in the transfer window.
He continued: "I always had the question mark, what happened that stopped Man United being successful in the last three, four, five years?
"One answer: the reality of the Premier League, the economic power in many clubs. The stability that clubs manage to give.
"There is work to be done on the Manchester squad. The good thing is the club knows, the board knows and we are together on this process."

Court Orders Final Forfeiture Of N450M Found In Lagos Plaza To Nigerian Govt
Justice Rilwan Aikawa of the Federal High Court, Lagos, today ordered the formal forfeiture of N449,597,000 (about N450 million) found by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in LEGICO Shopping mall, Victoria Island, Lagos to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The EFCC had on April 8 said it uncovered a large sum of suspected laundered money to the tune of N448,850,000 in the Shopping Plaza.
Mr. Aikawa had on April 19 ordered an interim forfeiture of the said money uncovered by the commission.
The order came following a motion ex-parte filed by Rotimi Oyedepo, a prosecutor with the EFCC pursuant to Section 17 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act No. 14, 2006.
Mr. Aikawa in his ruling last month, ordered anyone interested in the money to appear before him at the next adjourned date to show reason why the money should not be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.
The judge also directed the commission to publish in any national daily for anyone to show cause within 14 days why the order for the final forfeiture should not be granted.
However, in his motion on notice at the resumed hearing on Friday, Idris Mohammed, counsel to the EFCC urged the court to issue a final order forfeiting the total sum of N449,597,000 to the federal government.
Mr. Mohammed, said “the sum is reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activity.”
In his ruling, Mr. Aikawa stated that “I have perused the motion on notice and as far as my records show, neither the respondent nor any other interested party has filed any affidavit or any other process to show course why the interim order should not be granted.”
“I have no other option but to grant the motion as prayed,” the judge continued.

Gordon Ramsay Reveals The One Thing You Should Never Order At A Restaurant
Ahead of his new Fox TV series The F Word, we asked Ramsay for the cold hard truth about what really goes on behind-the-scenes of your favourite places to dine. Thankfully, he didn't disappoint.
What's the proper protocol if you get a bad meal?
The customer is king. You are going out for a special night, so if it's an unsatisfactory experience, take the opportunity to let the staff know so that they can rectify it then and in the future. It's also just as important to compliment great food and service, so don't be shy either way.
Asking the server for a recommendation: always or never?
It really depends on the restaurants, but servers tend to taste most of the dishes on the menu and can give you insight to what the chef has added or what locals love. Being on the road, I've gotten a lot of great recommendations from servers.
What should you never order at a restaurant?
Ask what yesterday's soup du jour was before today's special. It may be the case that it's the soup du month.
Are Valentine's Day prix-fixe menus a trap?
Valentine's day is the worst day of the year to go out. Busy kitchens with tons of diners means you don't get the true feeling of the restaurant. You should be cooking on Valentine's. What's more romantic than a meal cooked for your partner with good bottle of wine?
Is it taboo to order a steak well-done?
Good question. The problem with over cooking meats is it diminishes the flavour and incredible texture, so listen to the chefs recommendation or always stick to cooking medium at most.
One pervasive restaurant myth that drives you crazy...
That anyone can own/run a restaurant.
Alexis Sanchez hits out at Arsenal fans'
Arsenal striker, Alexis Sanchez, has slammed the club’s supporters over their protests asking for manager Arsene Wenger to leave.
Sanchez has backed the Frenchman, to bring in new players in the summer and change the club’s fortunes around next season.
He said: “This is normal. I think in every team they always buy more players. Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern, they always buy more players and I think we can have the option to buy more players to be stronger every day.
“For me, it (fan demonstrations) is very bad. He is the manager who gave a stadium to the club, won cups, and he has been 21 years in the job. He is the creator of the stadium, the players and style of the club.”
The Chile international’s future is also up in the air, as he is yet to agree a new deal with Arsenal.
Senate stops Gbajabiamila’s brother from assuming office as lottery board chief
The upper legislative chamber, the Senate has stopped President Muhammadu Buhari’s nominee for the position of Director-General, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Lanre Gbajabiamila, from performing his functions until his nomination is approved by Senate.
The Senate warned the nominee who is a younger brother of House of Representatives, Majority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, not to be seen within the vicinity of the commission.
It condemned the resumption of the nominee without an appointment letter and legislative confirmation, saying this is in violation of Section 8 (1) of the Nigerian Lottery Regulatory Commission Act which stipulates that the president shall appoint the director-general subject to the confirmation of the Senate.
The resolution followed the adoption of the report of an investigation by the Senate Leader Ahmed Lawan at Thursday’s legislative session.
The action of the Senate would improve the process of appointing those who manage government agencies as they would be screened for their fitness for the offices they are to hold, but it is also seen as a further demonstration of the cold relationship between the Aso Rock Villa and the Dome House.
The nominee was one of the 23 people appointed to head various federal agencies by President Buhari, through an announcement by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, on April 14.
In a “point of order” raised at Wednesday plenary, Dino Melaye (APC, Kogi State) observed that Gbajabiamila had already assumed office in contravention of extant laws.
Senate President Bukola Saraki who expressed shock at the revelation asked the Senate leader to investigate the matter and report back within 24 hours.
Presenting his findings Thursday, Lawan said the Executive admitted that the nominee erred by assuming office without following due process.
He urged appointees whose conformations are yet to be approved by the Senate to wait rather than violate the law.
“The nominee for the office of the Director General of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission actually assumed office. I think he was misadvised and therefore assumed office without going through the stipulated due process.
“I spoke with all those who should know better including the Acting Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Habibat Lawal) and the conclusion on the side of the Executive is that he erred because probably he didn’t get the correct briefing that he should have waited until due process and due diligence were completed.
“On this side, I believe that that was an error and there was a genuine appeal from the Executive that no such thing will ever happen again. I advise the SGF that that nominee should not be seen within the vicinity of the office of the DG until he is confirmed and an appointment letter is given to him.
“I also want to take this opportunity to ask and advise the Executive that such a thing must never be allowed to happen again. And also for nominees who may be so eager to start work that they should tarry a while until due diligence is followed to its logical conclusion.
“I believe that this is a worthwhile investigation and I believe that those who are supposed to ensure total compliance with our legislations now know better,” he told lawmakers.
Ruling on the matter, Saraki urged the Executive to respect the law at all times.
US slaps sanctions on Venezuela Supreme Court judges
The United States has imposed sanctions on Venezuela’s chief judge and seven other members of the country’s Supreme Court as punishment for seizing powers from the opposition-led congress earlier this year.
Those targeted will have their assets frozen within US jurisdiction, and US citizens will be barred from doing business with them, the US treasury department said on Thursday.
The new sanctions package was aimed at stepping up pressure on supporters of President Nicolas Maduro amid growing international concern over a crackdown on mass street protests.
“The Venezuelan people are suffering from a collapsing economy brought about by their government’s mismanagement and corruption,” Steven Mnuchin, the US treasury secretary, said in a statement.
“Members of the country’s Supreme Court of Justice have exacerbated the situation by consistently interfering with the legislative branch’s authority,” he said.
“By imposing these targeted sanctions, the United States is supporting the Venezuelan people in their efforts to protect and advance democratic governance in their country.”
Venezuela’s latest wave of anti-government unrest, which has left at least 44 people dead in the last six weeks, began when the Supreme Court assumed the powers of the National Assembly in March.
The de facto annulment of the congress drew widespread international condemnation, and the decision was later partially reversed.
Among those hit with sanctions was Maikel Moreno, a Maduro ally who became president of the 32-judge court in February.
The sanctions came shortly after US President Donald Trump called the situation in Venezuela a “disgrace to humanity”.
“People don’t have enough to eat. People have no food. There’s great violence,” Trump told a press conference with visiting Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos.
He added: “And we will do whatever is necessary and we will work together to do whatever is necessary to help with fixing that.”
Hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the streets against the Maduro’s government, demanding elections, freedom for jailed activists, foreign aid and autonomy for the opposition-led legislature.
Despite its vast oil reserves, Venezuela is suffering chronic shortages of food, medicine and other basic supplies. The centre-right opposition blames it all on mismanagement and corruption in the Socialist government.
Opposition leader Henrique Capriles said on Thursday that authorities confiscated his passport and prevented him from traveling to New York to discuss the country’s crisis with United Nations officials.
Maduro’s government, however, accuses the opposition of seeking a violent coup and says many of the protesters are no more than “terrorists”.
The treasury department has in the past sanctioned Venezuelan officials or former officials, charging them with trafficking or corruption, a designation that allows their assets in the US to be frozen and bars them from conducting financial transactions through the US.
The officials have denied the charges and called them a pretext as part of an effort to topple Maduro’s government.
The Trump administration has threatened further measures against Caracas, but sanctions so far have stopped short of hitting the oil sector in Venezuela, which is a major US oil supplier.

A mother has donated her uterus to her 21-year-old daughter in the first surgery of its kind in India.
The 43-year-old offered to undergo the procedure so that her daughter, who was born without a uterus, can experience childbirth.
The uterus, or womb, transplant took place in the city of Pune in southwest India, Thursday.
The 43-year-old offered to undergo the procedure so that her daughter, who was born without a uterus, can experience childbirth.
The uterus, or womb, transplant took place in the city of Pune in southwest India, Thursday.
The surgery was performed by a team of doctors at Pune’s Galaxy Care Hospital and led by the hospital’s medical director, Dr. Shailesh Puntambekar.
“The patients are fine. The surgery took nine and a half hours in total,” he said.
“The procedure is difficult because multiple large arteries are to be joined there, and veins that are small and short,” said Puntambekar. “It is technically very tough.”
The patient will have to wait a year before trying to become pregnant through in-vitro fertilization (IVF), giving her body enough time to heal and adjust to the new uterus.
According to Dr. Mats Brännström, a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at Sweden’s University of Gothenburg, only six babies have ever been delivered from a uterus transplant — two from the same mother.
Brännström led the team that first successfully performed the procedure in 2014, when after 11 unsuccessful attempts worldwide by their team and others, a healthy baby was born in Sweden.
All five babies delivered since have been the result of surgeries performed by the Swedish team.
It remains to be seen whether India’s first transplant will result in a birth. - CNN
Why You Should Never, Ever Check Your Luggage on a Plane
Here's why you should keep your luggage with you on your next flight.
1. You save money.
This is a pretty significant reason to skip checking a bag, especially depending on what airline your flying. While some airlines (looking at you JetBlue and Virgin!) let you have your first bag (as long as its not over-sized) for free, many costs range from $25-50 per bag for checking. Paying for a bag you have to wait in a long line to check (and one that may get lost or damaged) really feels like adding insult to injury.
2. You'll get through the airport faster.
Carrying on your luggage means avoiding the lines for checking your bags before you go through security. Many airlines allow you to check in to your flight 24 hours ahead of time (international flights can have different policies since passports are involved). You can get your mobile boarding pass and skip the wait to drop your bags by breezing past the kiosks and heading straight for security. Getting through the airport will be much less painful.
3. Your belongings are in safe hands.
You can rest assured that your valuables are in safe hands, because they are in your hands. When you need to bring items on your travels that have great worth to you, you'll have piece of mind knowing where they are all times because you'll have control over how they a stored and transported.
4. Your luggage itself will be more protected.
It's no secret that your luggage isn't necessarily being handled with care. It's tossed on conveyor belt and haphazardly transferred (after a rollercoaster ride) to the underbelly of your plane, where it will be crammed among countless other bags. While it's normal for luggage to go through some wear and tear on your travels, carrying it on means keeping it in better condition for longer.
5. It's easier to travel with less bulky items.
If you plan on traveling from destination to destination instead of staying in one place, having a small carry-on bag is much more manageable than toting a 50-pound bag full of things you probably don't even need around.
6. You are forced to bring only what you need.
Not checking your bags means becoming a smarter packer. Because you have to optimize your bag space, you'll be more inclined to pack just the basics. You can avoid bringing along things you will inevitably realize in hindsight were unnecessary, and soon packing will be like an art form to you. Having an efficient packing system can make air travel so much less stressful.
7. You have everything you need for delays and long layovers.
If you have to camp out in the airport due to unforseen delays, flight cancellations, or long layovers, having a carry-on with all of your belongings means having access to everything you could need during that time.
8. You don't have to wait for your bag once you deplane.
After hours of a long flight, the last thing anyone feels like doing is waiting around for that beautiful (or shrill, depending on how you look at it) beeping noise that indicates your bags are on their way down the belt. It seems like no matter how early or late you arrive to check in luggage, your bag is always the very last to come trundling down the slide. If it comes at all. Skip this process altogether and head straight out of the airport with your carry-on. - PopSugar
