Update! Nigerian student assaulted by mob in India says no one came forward to help him

The Nigerian national who was assaulted in Greater Noida has said that no one helped them while they were being beaten up and claimed that he had no clue why he was assaulted.
"We don’t know why we were assaulted, the mob hit us with rods, bricks and knives.
We asked people around for help, but not one called the police. Even our colleagues did not help,"  said the Nigerian national as quoted by ANI.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assured thorough investigation and action over the incident. The UP government has said that a report will be provided to the Centre on the incident soon.
"Attack on Nigerian students is a serious issue. Proper probe will be done. Report will be provided to Centre at earliest,” said UP Minister Siddharth Nath Singh.
The police have filed an FIR and five people have been arrested in connection with the assault on the Nigerian nationals in Greater Noida on Monday.

It all began when Manish Khari, a Class 12 student in Greater Noida, died, reportedly of drug overdose on Friday. It was reported that the boy was last been seen with five Nigerian students who lived in the neighbourhood.

Soon after the rumours spread, the locals raided their home and also accused them of being cannibals. The five Nigerian students were booked for killing Khari and were later released after the questioning.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj intervened into the matter on Monday night and sought a report from the Uttar Pradesh government over the attack on the Nigerian national. She also spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the incident.
Meanwhile, Khari’s family insists that the police file murder charges against the Nigerian students.  Nigerian students have been protesting against murder chargers and have held mass demonstrations. “Black lives matter,” “We demand justice,” and “Skin tone is not a crime” were some slogans that were heard outside the Kasna police station in Greater Noida during a protest on Sunday.

Lobatan! Burglar Gets Stuck On Fence With His Trousers Down

A suspected thief was reportedly arrested in Tucson, Arizona, on Friday after he was spotted in a rather unusual position: dangling from a fence by his trousers. Witnesses said the hapless fellow had been seen trying to open some doors at Miles Elementary School at around 10.30 on Friday morning. There were no pupils on site at the time due to the school being on holiday.

When the man realised he'd been spotted, witnesses say he tried to clamber over the school's spiked fence - but slipped, snagged his trousers on the fence, and ended up hanging upside-down on the fence with his trousers at half mast.

Passerby Jesse Sensibar saw him hanging there and took a photo, which he later uploaded to Facebook saying: "One more reason not to jump fences in baggy pants. "I saw this homie hanging around at the Miles School this morning when I was rolling eastbound on Broadway Avenue. I was going to help him off the fence but by the time I got back around the block the cops were rolling up two cars deep.

"I don't know what his story was but it must not have been good enough, fifteen minutes later when I went back by the other direction going home he was cuffed up in the backseat. He smiled for the camera."

Shocking! Man live streams as he whips his girlfriend with a belt after allegedly catching her texting another man (video)

A man in Memphis Tennessee had the guts to livestream a video which showed him whipping his nude girlfriend with a belt, while she screamed in pain and begged him to stop. He claimed he caught her sending a text to another man.

The man stopped the brutal beating after telling her “You learned your lesson.”. Watch the despicable video HERE (Or maybe she was in on it and it's just something they do to get off?)

Omg! Massive sinkhole suddenly appears on busy road and almost swallows bus carrying 21 passengers

When next you want to wish for the floor to open up and swallow you, just know that it's not exactly impossible for that to happen as can be seen with what happened in China on Friday.

A passenger bus carrying 21 people escaped by seconds the tragedy of being swallowed by a massive sinkhole which appeared all of a sudden on a busy road in Nanning Guangxi, China.

In the heart-stopping clip, a car can be seen passing by after which a part of the road sunk all of a sudden creating a huge hole just as the passenger bus was approaching. Luckily, the driver stopped just in time.

A camera inside the bus shows the bus shaking with the driver desperately accelerating over the collapsing road with only seconds to spare.Luckily, nobody was injured and that part of the road was later sectioned off and concrete was poured into the sink hole.

Sinkholes are quite common all over the world, especially in the U.S. These holes open up suddenly without any sign or warning and people have in fact become victims and fallen into these holes.

New crisis broke out on Monday between touts at Alamutu and Akala streets in Mushin, Lagos, leaving one person dead and scores injured.
The fight, as gathered, was a spill-over of Sunday’s fight, following an interruption of a candle light procession by Alamutu Boys.
A resident, Kayode told Vanguard that “the two groups used to be together until Alamutu Boys pulled out. They used to form a gang to fight other people around Mushin and Somolu. But the Alamutu Boys complained that they were not being treated fairly when sharing money and other things. That was why they pulled out. But in this case, Alamutu Boys were having a candle light procession for one of their own, a conductor, who died in an auto crash on Sunday. The team had barely reached Alamutu Street when they were attacked by Akala Boys".
“Gunshots rented the air, with both sides using dangerous weapons freely. Innocent passers-by were robbed. People sustained injuries on both sides. We learned that some people died".
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the death of one person saying,
“The police responded to a distress call of a clash between two gangs. A dead body was recovered in the process.”

Northern Elders Forum: We Are Ready To Divide Nigeria Now

We Are Ready to Divide Nigeria Now, Says Northern Elders Forum
Prof Ango Abdullahi -spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum, a think-tank for the 19 Northern states, has said that the north is ready if Nigeria decides to break up.Read more after cut....

In an interview with Sunday Sun, Ango, a politician, professor of Agronomy, one-time Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University who attended four constitutional conferences in Nigeria threw a challenge to those who think that the North is afraid of Nigeria’s disintegration into more basic constituents, saying the North was ever ready for the dissolution and that the way to go about it was through the calling of a formal meeting with complete powers to terminate the legal relationships between the constituent parts in Nigeria.

According to him, If we agree that we should live together as a people and as a country, so be it, but if the general consensus is that Nigerians want to go their separate ways either on the basis of ethnicity, culture, history or religion, why not; why not, adding, “if anybody tells you that the large informed opinion in the North is against the dissolution of Nigeria, he is telling you lies.”
Reacting to a question on the readiness of the North for a dissolution, the agronomist, replied: “Absolutely, absolutely, we are.

It all depends on the selfish way people want to negotiate.
I am 78 now and I also went to the only university in the country at the time in Ibadan. Nobody can tell me about the history of this country.
I know a lot about it because I was very much awake and a grown up person to know what happened.
“The people who argued for the creation of states in 1966/67 are the same people today who are asking for the restructuring of Nigeria with particular preference for regional arrangements.
The South-west wants preferably a region, a region that was at one time under the leadership of Chief Awolowo, unless, of course, you are trying to ignore all the writings, all the things that had been written, particularly in their declaration called DAWN, Development Agenda for Western Nigeria, then you can ignore this.”

He further noted that “Biafrans who are saying the same thing. Chief Ekwueme is my respected leader.

“He was in the 1995/96 conference. In fact, he led the Igbo socio-cultural group to the conference and their proposal in that conference was for Nigeria to become a confederate unit. And of course, at that time, perhaps, there was still the feeling that some hopes still remain that Nigeria should paddle along and perhaps they will overcome some of these differences.
His proposal for confederate arrangement was defeated in the conference. I was there. But when he got the opportunity to review the report of the conference, a committee was set up to look at the report of the conference.

He was the one who really worked for these so-called geo-political areas that is totally unconstitutional.
They are not part of our constitution and this is one of the mistakes that the country is going through. Geo-political zones are not units in our constitutional arrangements.
They are selfish conveniences of people who are perhaps clamouring for political positions, elective or otherwise, that are operating today to the detriment of good governance in this country.”

Prof Ango Abdullahi further reacted to why the North is ready for dissolution, speaking on the indices, he said: “The biggest indices other Nigerians do not want Nigeria; so I don’t see why the North should insist on having Nigeria. That is the biggest index I have. And this is on the basis of the recent statements
