'No Where in My House Is Safe': Britney Spears Gets Spooked - Again

The American singer, Britney Spears can’t rest easy in her own house.

The 35-year-old pop star posted a hilarious video on Instagram on Saturday in which someone walked behind her while she was in her kitchen. When the person, who was filming, quietly said, "hello," Spears jumped in the air and screamed.
"I swear.... no where in my house is safe," Spears wrote in the caption with laughing emojis.

This isn’t the first time Spears has been caught off guard. On Monday, one of Spears’ sons took her phone and said, "So, we just took our mom’s phone and this is take two of scaring her."

As he creeped behind his mom (her other son likely playing cameraman), Spears is seen standing at the stove. He let out a scream and she screamed back, jumping the air and quickly yelling, "Preston! Jayden! Stop!" as her son giggled.

In September, her two sons, Jayden James, 10, and Sean Preston, 11, played a prank on their mom using her Instagram account.
In the clip, Preston revealed that they’ve stolen Spears’ phone and they were about to "scare the heck out of mom."

Celtic beat Hearts to end the season as unbeaten champions

Leigh Griffiths and Stuart Armstrong were on target in a 2-0 victory against Hearts as Celtic completed the Ladbrokes Premiership season as unbeaten champions.
Griffiths kick-started the title party five minutes after the interval when he headed home a cross from the impressive Patrick Roberts.

And Armstrong netted Celtic's 106th goal of the Premiership campaign with 14 minutes left as Celtic moved to a record 106-point total.
Brendan Rodgers' side made it a 34th win of the league season on a day of celebration at Celtic Park before, during and after the 90 minutes.

As both teams came out, the home fans produced a stadium-wide display in tribute to their European Cup-winning team ahead of next Wednesday's 50th anniversary which included an image of the trophy and a giant 'Lisbon Lions'.

With the trophy presentation to follow after the game, a sold-out home crowd were made to wait for their first celebration of the day.
Celtic, who had Cristian Gamboa in for Mikael Lustig, were restricted to long-range shots in the opening quarter with Kieran Tierney, Griffiths and Callum McGregor all coming close.

Hearts, who handed 19-year-old Jamie Brandon a debut at wing-back, also threatened from free-kicks by Alex Tziolis and Bjorn Johnsen, who retained his place after head coach Ian Cathro played down reports of a bust-up with the striker at half-time during their midweek defeat by St Johnstone.

Celtic upped the tempo towards the end of the half but Viktor Noring made a good stop from Dedryck Boyata after a Griffiths corner and Hearts managed to clear after Roberts had turned Aaron Hughes inside and out before firing the ball across the face of goal.

Tom Rogic came on for Gamboa at half-time as Celtic moved to a three-man defence and the extra midfielder quickly made a difference.
Roberts got outside Liam Smith and delivered a right-footed cross for Griffiths to head home from six yards.

The goalscorer came close again after linking up with the same player and Scott Brown hit the outside of the post as Celtic kept up the pressure.
Griffiths turned provider when he got clear down the right and delivered a low cross towards Scott Sinclair at the back post. His ball was cut out but Armstrong was following up and shot into the top corner from 12 yards.

Kolo Toure came off the bench for Celtic and produced a goalmouth clearance to deny fellow sub Malaury Martin a goal, before Johnsen headed against the post from the resulting corner.
Hearts continued their late flurry and Craig Gordon saved Martin's volley at his near post before the whistle blew on an outstanding league campaign for Celtic, who will complete the treble if they beat Aberdeen in Saturday's William Hill Scottish Cup final. -PA

Egyptian president: Trump ‘capable of the impossible’

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said during a meeting with President Trump early Sunday in Saudi Arabia that Trump has a "unique personality" and is "capable of the impossible."

Sisi, through a translator, thanked Trump for the strategic relationship between Egypt and the U.S., according to a reporter who is traveling with Trump, adding that Egypt is secure, able and stable with the cooperation of the U.S.

Sisi also praised Trump as a "unique personality who is capable of the impossible."
"I agree," Trump said, to laughter.
In response to Sisi's invitation, Trump also said he would visit Egypt soon.
The two leaders met at the White House in early April.

"He's done a fantastic job in a very difficult situation," Trump said at the time, referring to Sisi, who led a coup three years ago to depose Egypt's first freely elected president and faces criticism over alleged human rights abuses.
Trump on Sunday added that the American people "appreciated" the release last month of Aya Hijazi, an Egyptian-American aid worker who spent three years in a Cairo prison. -

The 5 most common online scams to watch for

The internet can be a scary place. Misinformation, false promises, and fake news lurk behind every clickbait headline and questionable link. Entire industries are built to profit from deceptive tricks to con the naive.

They say a sucker is born every minute, and online scam artists are counting on it. Their tricks are built to prey on trust. In addition to regularly changing the passwords for all of your accounts, the best way to protect yourself from being swindled is to remain skeptical and vigilant of anything that seems out of the ordinary.

The most common online scams

1) “There’s a problem with your account!”

You get an email from what appears to be PayPal or your bank with a message along the lines of: “There’s a problem with your account. Click this link to fix the issue or your account will be suspended.”
Once you click the link, you’re taken to a page that looks exactly like the login page to your account. So you enter your information, hit enter, and then… it doesn’t go through. Maybe just a browser glitch? Probably not.
What’s likely happened is that you’ve just given your valuable account information to scammers who now have free reign to do whatever they please with it.

This classic phishing scam successfully tricks millions of people every year. It’s not just banks or PayPal emails to be wary of; scammers might adopt the guise of Amazon, Apple, eBay, or one of your co-workers if you work in an industry where you email might have valuable information.
The main giveaway that the email is not legit is this: your bank or any similar service will never, ever, ever ask for your log-in information. If that happens, that should always raise a red flag.

The other indicators are in the details. Usually, the sender’s email address will be suspicious. They may claim to be from Bank of America Security Center but then their actual email address is something strange like @bank-of-america.org rather than @bankofamerica.com. You may also notice, if you hover the mouse over the link in the email, that the click-through doesn’t actually go to the website but instead some other web address.
The best way to investigate their claim is to open a new browser, type in the web address, and then enter. Odds are you won’t see any messages indicating there’s any issue with your account.

2) “Your computer is infected!”

One day you’re happily browsing goat GIFs on Imgur when a pop-up appears and informs you that your system has been compromised. Sometimes it even looks like it’s from your computer’s operating system. You may even be unable to exit the window without clicking one of the choices.
It promises to diagnose your problem with a click, but once you do, the problem is only compounded. Now there are even more pop-ups. And the only solution appears to be to sign up for some dodgy service and pay a monthly fee for an antivirus product you’ve never heard of before.

In this case, the best defense is advance preparation. Investing in antivirus software and pop-up blockers tend to eliminate this issue. To be safe, you should be sure to regularly back-up your important documents and programs in case of a worst-case scenario. And if you find malware pop-up forcing you to download something, don’t do it under any circumstances. It’s better to perform a hard reset of your device than to download something that might compromise your device.

3) “OMG! Is this a naked picture of you?”

No wonder this con has grown in popularity in recent years. If a scammer’s goal is to get you to click their link and the best way to do that is to frighten you, then what’s more worrisome than leaked nudes?
It’s especially easy to fall for this, especially since this scam often uses dummy or hacked versions of your friend’s accounts to lure you into thinking the message is legitimate.

And if you click the link and enter your log-in information to find the photo on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram, then the cycle will begin again, and a dummy or hacked version of your account will then message someone else from your friends’ list.
If this scenario happens to you, the best way to be sure is to contact the friend via another method, like text, and ask them if they sent the email. Chances are they’ve been hacked and didn’t even realize it.

4) “Can you send by Western Union?”

Anyone requesting money in exchange for a later reward shouldn’t be trusted, but the scam persists because it’s still tricking people.
For example, maybe you’re trying to sell an old couch on Craigslist or eBay. You get a message almost immediately, offering exactly what you were hoping to get. But there’s a snag: the buyer lives overseas. They might say, “Send me your address and I’ll mail you a check to cover the costs and shipping.” It’s a bit strange to pay by check, but they have an excuse and insist on it, usually accompanied by some sob story on why PayPal or another method is unusable for them right now. Then they’ll send you a check to deposit for a sum larger than agreed upon. They tell you the extra money is for their shipping company to cover the delivery. They’ll ask that you deposit the check and then “can you send (X amount) by Western Union?”

The con here is that the check is always a forgery. They’re attempting to earn your confidence that this is a legitimate transaction, but their only goal is for you to wire them money through a dummy company. Of course, you wouldn’t know the check is a forgery until after the bank tells you the check has bounced.

If this racket sounds familiar, that’s because it’s been around for years. It’s essentially an update of infamous “Nigerian Prince” email scam, in which you receive a message informing you that somehow a large windfall was coming your way thanks to a prince in Nigeria.

But there’s the thing: At this point, transactions online should be a simple process. If they can’t deliver with PayPal or Venmo, then no matter what their excuse is, it’s probably not worth going any further.

5) The perfect job/girlfriend/product

Scammers love to exploit hope. The idea that we could stumble upon some life-changing opportunity any day is exactly what fuels their schemes.
Take a glance at the classifieds on Craigslist and you’ll find a number of job postings promising big salaries for easy work-from-home gigs. If you apply to one of those jobs, the fake employer won’t take long to request your social security number for tax purposes or your bank account details to pay you. Then, before you realize the whole thing was a scam, money has been withdrawn from your account and perhaps your identity has been stolen too.

Similarly, on Tinder, OkCupid, or any other popular dating site, you may find yourself matching with someone stunningly beautiful. Then after a few messages are exchanged, they insist on moving the chat to some other app, one that requires creating an account. They tell you it’s quick and easy to sign-up, and they only do it because they can’t trust people on dating sites— but, in fact, this is all merely a ploy to nab your personal information.

This same tactic is used to great success with junk products. Anything that sounds like it could easily be on a late-night infomercial is always worth Googling before buying. Usually, if you search “(product name) + scam” you’ll find warnings of people who realized, all too late, that they’d been had.
The old adage is as true now as it ever was: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. -

Everton Slap World Record Price Tag on Romelu Lukaku to Scare Off Chelsea & Manchester United

Everton are still hopeful they can keep star striker Romelu Lukaku and have slapped a £100m price tag to warn off pursuing parties, as reported by The Sun.

Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked with the 24-goal Belgian, but Ronald Koeman is determined to be stubborn towards the Premier League giants with these latest revelations.

If either club did fulfil the Toffees' needs and coughed up the fee, it would set a new transfer record, eclipsing the £89m United paid for Paul Pogba last summer.

The Red Devils are looking to land the 24-year-old with Jose Mourinho desperate for a new striker, particularly after Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffered a serious knee injury.

Chelsea are also keen to re-sign the Belgian as a possible replacement for Diego Costa, who is rumoured to be keen on a move to China this summer.

Antonio Conte looks set for a big summer spending spree in order to make his Blues side strong enough to compete on all fronts after being absent from this year's Champions League.
But, Koeman is adamant Everton can keep Lukaku for at least one more season, however, the striker has already rejected an improved deal reported to be worth £120k-a-week.

Nevertheless, the Belgian - who is desperate for Champions League football - still has two years left on his current deal, meaning the Toffees have a distinct advantage when dealing with his situation.
If they cannot persuade their talisman to sign on, they can negotiate the highest price for their man this summer, perhaps breaking the transfer record in the process.

Mourinho hits back at 'very poor managers' in football media

Jose Mourinho has hit out at his detractors in an impassioned defence of Manchester United’s achievements this season.

The Red Devils have already won the Community Shield and EFL Cup, and on Wednesday they face Ajax in the Europa League final in Stockholm. However, they are already certain to finish down in sixth place in the Premier League regardless of their result in Sunday’s final fixture against Crystal Palace.

But Mourinho has used his programme notes for the game against the Eagles to launch a stinging rebuke to those who have judged United’s season as a failure, especially in light of injuries sustained to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw in particular.

“I have seen in the football media that certain pundits cannot understand why our players are tired,” he wrote after underlining United have played 64 of a possible 66 games this term.
“A pundit is not honest if they cannot forget their colours or if they try to hide the truth from their audience. It’s not my fault if their managerial career was very poor.

“Our main golascorer, Zlatan, has had major knee surgery, as has a top central defender in Marcos Rojo. Luke Shaw has had surgery at a time when he hit his best form.
“Phil Jones and Chris Smalling had important injuries at the same time.”

He continued: “Our postponed fixtures accumulated to the last month of the season, and in the last two months of the season we have played 16 matches. Don’t we deserve respect for that? Didn’t we deserve to be analysed in this context?

“Didn’t this team fight every second of every match? Didn’t this team win the Community Shield and League Cup? Didn’t this team beat the club record of 25 Premier League matches unbeaten in the same season? Isn’t this team going to play a European final next Wednesday?
“I have to stand up and say that my boys deserve all my respect, and with my boys I will walk to Stockholm.”

United’s clash with Palace is something of a dead rubber, with Sam Allardyce’s side having already achieved their primary aim of staving off relegation following last week’s 4-0 win over Hull City.
Mourinho has promised to blood a number of youngsters in the Old Trafford clash in order to rest some of his first-team squad for Wednesday’s final.

Djokovic picks Agassi as new coach

World number two Novak Djokovic said Andre Agassi will be his new coach after the Serb lost in the Italian Open final to Alexander Zverev.
The 12-time Grand Slam winner parted company with his entire coaching team earlier in May.
Former world number one Agassi will be with Djokovic in Paris for the French Open, which starts on 28 May.
The news was confirmed after German Zverev, 20, stunned Djokovic 6-4 6-3 to win in Rome.
In the women’s event, Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina triumphed with a 4-6 7-5 6-1 win over Romania’s Simona Halep.
At 20 years and one month, Zverev is the youngest Masters event champion since Djokovic himself won the 2007 Miami Open.
Fearless Zverev, currently ranked 17 in the world but now set to move into the top 10, dominated from the start.
He did not face a break point and broke the 12-time major winner in the first game and twice in the second set.
Djokovic received a code violation for an audible obscenity in the seventh game of the second set, and later double-faulted to hand Zverev match point.
A long backhand by the Serb, who will celebrate his 30th birthday on Monday, subsequently ensured victory to his highly-rated opponent.
Djokovic’s semi-final win over Dominic Thiem had hinted he was close to recovering his best form after a poor year, culminating in the departure of his entire coaching staff earlier this month.
But Zverev was composed throughout and won in one hour and 21 minutes.
“It’s such an honour being on the court against one of the best ever players,” said Zverev after his victory.
“If I have half the career Novak has had, I will be just fine.”
Referring to the French Open, the second Grand Slam of the year, which begins on 28 May, he added: “I’m sure he will be one of the favourites in Paris.”
Djokovic will need to raise his game having hit 27 unforced errors to his opponent’s 14, but hinted at a big future for the German.
“You are definitely on a great path. You played fantastic and deserve it,” he said.
Svitolina fought back from losing the first set to win her fourth title of the year.
The 22-year-old is currently ranked 11th in the world, but will return to the top 10 when the rankings are updated on Monday.
Halep, 25, who won the Madrid Open last week, rolled her ankle when leading 5-2 in the first set, but managed to take it 6-4.
The world number four had her ankle strapped in the second set, which Svitolina took 7-5.
The third set was a one-sided affair as Svitolina won 6-1 in 30 minutes.
Svitolina, who also called for a trainer in the second set, adds her Rome title to victories in Istanbul, Dubai and Taipei City.- BBC

I caught my wife red-handed with different men – Man tells court

A 23-year marriage between Azeez Adeshina, a bricklayer, and his wife, Oluwatoyin, a banker, was on Friday dissolved on the orders of an Ikorodu Customary Court in Lagos State on the grounds of the wife’s desertion.
The 40-year-old husband said his wife left their matrimonial home 10 years ago because he caught her red-handed with a man.
Adeshina, who resides at Ipinyewa, off Adamo Road in Ikorodu, had approached the court, asking it to dissolve the marriage which has produced three children.
“I caught my wife red-handed with different men at different times and she left the house because I accused her of adultery.
“She also threatened my life, I want this court to dissolve the marriage,” he said.
However, Oluwatoyin, a 40-year-old banker, who did not deny her husband’s claims, also agreed to the dissolution of the marriage.
The Acting President of the court, Mr. Adeniyi Popoola, pronounced the union dissolved, saying the effort to reconcile the couple had failed.
“The marriage is hereby dissolved based on irreconcilable differences and the fact that they have parted ways a long time ago.”
He, however, awarded the custody of the last two children of ages 11 and 12 to the woman.
“This marriage is terminated and the husband should pay N150,000 as rent to the wife for their accommodation.
“The husband should also pay the sum of N15,000 feeding allowance monthly through the court and should also be responsible for medical expenses and their education.
“The first child aged 19 should, however, decide whoever she wants to live with.
“Visitation right is granted to the husband at reasonable time of the day on any agreed date he wants to see the children,” the president said.

Anthony Joshua sets to move into a £27m mansion house

Anthony Joshua is finally preparing to move out of his mum’s flat after getting a taste of the high life in a £27million mansion.

He wants to stay in London and has already tested the water by renting the incredible seven-bedroom mansion.
A source close to the star told the Sunday Mirror: “Anthony has begun looking for a home of his own.

"He’s determined to weigh up all his options rather than make any rash decisions, but the search is on.
“He knows it’s a big decision and he wants to make sure he buys the right place.”
Joshua, 26 – being tipped to earn £1billion over his career – still regards mum Yeta’s former council flat in north-west London, as home.
However, he did rent the £80,000-a-month mansion in posh St John’s Wood for a spell.

The home – decorated with chandeliers and paintings by French artist Viviane Cisinski – was bought for £27million by South African diamond trader Walter Hennig, 44, in 2012.

The luxury home includes a salt grotto as part of a state-of-the-art spa, gym and indoor pool complex, plus a wine cellar, cinema and two staff bedrooms.
The master suite, with his and hers dressing areas, occupies the first floor.

Dad-of-one Joshua bought his mum’s flat for £174,000 after turning pro in 2013.
It is understood he also paid for a £500,000 flat in nearby Finchley for his ex Nicole Osbourne, 27, and son Joseph, 18-months.

The source added: “AJ is a down-to-earth guy and isn’t getting carried away. But beating Klitschko catapulted him into a different league and he’s decided it’s time to branch out into a place of his own.
“He has a large budget and wants to buy somewhere he can call home for years to come. He won’t be rushed and is determined to make the right choice.”

How a shortwave radio network is helping to counter Boko Haram

It’s easy to overlook the power of radio, when being hit by a firehose of apps, websites, video and social media.  But when you’re out in the sticks, especially if there’s crisis or unrest, radio saves lives.

“In crisis situations, information is very, very important. Sometimes more than food, you need information," says Faruk Dalhatu, managing director of Dandal Kura Radio International in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri, a former Boko Haram stronghold. “Because, if you’re on the run, you need to know which direction is safe, before you even think of close family members that have been separated from you.”

What’s more, you don’t need to know how to read to listen to radio. You don’t even need to own a radio; you can just listen to someone else’s. And if you’ve got a cellphone — and many people even in remote parts of Africa do — you can call in and have a voice.

All this informed why the relatively new Dandal Kura radio network, which started broadcasting in early 2016, was set up, with help from the United Nations and other funders, as it was — a regional, interactive, international radio network, reaching across borders, the way Boko Haram does, in the language Boko Haram and some 10 million people in the region speak, Kanuri. The region includes northeastern Nigeria, Niger, Chad and Cameroon.
“This is the first Kanuri-language radio network in the world,” says David Smith, the founder of Dandal Kura Radio International, and previously founder of Radio Okapi in the Republic of Congo — credited by one senior UN peacekeeping official as electronically destroying the frontline in the war in the Congo — and other post-conflict radio efforts in Somalia, Equatorial Guinea and the former Yugoslavia.

The idea behind Dandal Kura, which means "meeting place" in Kanuri, is to provide a region battered for almost eight years by Boko Haram, with a source of reliable information, interesting programming, and dialogue with each other and with regional peacekeeping forces now trying to keep Boko Haram at bay.

“Radio is king on this continent,” says Smith. “To reach the people of the Lake Chad area, using anything other than radio, would be a failure.”
Boko Haram, with its extreme Islamist views, wasn’t a big fan of radio when it controlled most of northeastern Nigeria’s Borno State, nor when it kidnapped 270 schoolgirls in 2014. Radios were among the many things its members destroyed in their rampage across the region.

Since early 2016, the Nigerian military has succeeded in pushing Boko Haram back, though not vanquishing them entirely. They still hit and run, and have killed more than 200 people over the past year. Many farmers are still reluctant to go back and live on their farms, resulting in the region known as Africa’s breadbasket now having almost 50,000 people who face famine, and 5 million who are living with acute food shortages.
All that said, Faruk Dalhatu says things are definitely better than they were. The release in early May of 81 of the kidnapped schoolgirls, in a prisoner exchange, is just one sign of that.
“The tide has turned,” Dalhatu says. “People can now travel from one village to another with minimal risk. Don’t get me wrong; some people still need military escorts to cross the forest (where Boko Haram is active),” but it’s better than it was, he says.

In this time of transition, Dandal Kura keeps its audience up to date with news and current affairs and entertained with music and talk shows. Families that were separated by years of violence can put out a call for their relatives to get in touch. Counselors, including Muslim and Christian clergy and traditional leaders, are invited to talk people through their trauma, and urge reconciliation with those who might once have been involved with Boko Haram and have now cut their ties. And there are popular radio dramas, written and acted out by local people, sometimes featuring former members of Boko Haram and their relatives.

“The writers know the people they’re writing about,” Smith says. “So it’s not a stretch for them to make up radio fiction drama based on things that have happened to people in their own family. And horrible things happen in this radio drama. People die. People get blown up. People get killed. People get knifed. But it's real life.”

Hearing these real life stories, including stories of reconciliation, and nonviolent ways to resolve disputes, has had an impact. Smith says a recent survey in the region found that 90 percent of people surveyed knew what Dandal Kura was, and thought favorably of it.

“Perhaps even more importantly, people who listen to Dandal Kura tend to be less likely to believe that violence is a means to an end in northeastern Nigeria, than those who don't listen to Dandal Kura,” Smith says. “

Still, Boko Haram gained ground, in part, because many people in the region had few prospects, felt ignored by the government and disgusted by its culture of impunity, Smith says.

“Until people have jobs, until people believe that they have some kind of link with influencing elected officials, until people believe that security forces are there to protect them rather than to at best harass them, at worst threaten their lives, until they have access to education, until they have access to adequate health care, the conditions that allowed an extremist group to exist will remain,” Smith says. “And Boko Haram will come back in another form, as it has in many other countries on the continent and elsewhere on the planet."

“So part of the reason that for Dandal Kura is to allow experts and simple farmers and students and goat herders to have a place to talk about what bothers them and how they see — I don't want to sound like a greeting card, but how they see a brighter future.” - PRI

I Will Miss Her Love & Care, Moji Olaiya’s Daughter Speaks

Moji Olaiya’s 20-year old daughter has spoken. She spoke under a tent at her mother’s house where she and family members have been receiving guests to a reporter about how she will forever miss her mom. According to the covenant university undergraduate, it’s the worst news anyone can ever hear and she will greatly miss her mom.

“This is the worst kind of news anyone can hear. I spoke with her on the day she died and nothing prepared me for this bad news. I will miss her love and care, because she always provided anything I wanted.”

On how the funeral rites would be handled, Adun simply said, “I don’t know at this point. It is the family that will take care of that.”

Coup: Army Moves To Arrest Suspects

The Nigerian Army may have begun an internal search for soldiers and officers suspected to be engaging in political meetings, a top military source has revealed.

Some other sources who spoke yesterday noted that the establishment of an army unit in Daura, Katsina State, on Friday, named Muhammadu Buhari Forward Operation Base, by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, was an effort to fortify the president’s hometown and a public pledge of loyalty.

On Tuesday, Buratai, in a tense language, had warned officers and soldiers to steer clear of politics, as information had reached him that some officers were involved in political meetings for “undisclosed reasons.”

The army chief had advised officers and soldiers interested in politicking to resign from the service, as any officer caught would be severely penalized.

Three days after the alert (Friday), Buratai went to Daura, where he inaugurated the army unit, and paid a courtesy call on the Emir of Daura, Dr Faruk Umar.

The details of the meeting have yet to be known.

The army chief, at the ceremony, had said the establishment of the unit was to enhance security in parts of 1 Division, which Daura town fell under.

Also, the Director, Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman, said, “The establishment of the new unit was part of the implementation of the Nigerian Army approved Order of Battle 2016 (ORBAT 2016) by the Army council.

“Prior to that, the COAS was also at the Palace of his Royal Highness, Alhaji Faruk Umar, the Emir of Daura, for a courtesy call.”

The top army source said the army knew quite well the weight of its statement on politicking soldiers in the country and had already followed up with high intelligence-driven search, adding that the public groups and civil societies could not be more rigorous than the army.

Other sources said that some of the suspected political meetings were held under the guise of some of the recently redeployed 147 soldiers and officers, allegedly trying to familiarize with their new hosts.

When contacted on the measures the army was taking on the alert of soldiers hobnobbing with politicians, the army spokesman, Usman, said the army was a professional service, and would not hesitate to brief the public if it considered the information as necessary.

He said, “The army is a disciplined and professional service. We relate well with the Nigerian public. When there is need to disclose information, we will.”

Security has also been beefed up at the Federal Capital, Abuja to prevent any unrest. Federal Capital Territory (FCT) officials, it was learnt, have been holding meetings keep it safe from any attack

'If you call yourself a virgin and you masturbate, you are not one' - Counselor Lutterodt

Controversial Ghanaian marriage counselor, George Lutterodt, in a new shocking disclosure has said that virgins who masturbate should not describe themselves as one.

He disclosed this in a recent interview with Kasapa FM, while revealing the high rate of masturbating virgins between Christians.

According to him:
'We have masturbating virgins and per a research, I conducted last year, Christians are in that range more than anyone else in the sense that, they do not want to have sex with anyone but masturbate to satisfy their sexual desire. These people cannot describe themselves as virgins because they derive the same pleasure like people who have sex.’

Mr. Lutterodt also rain curses on men living in Diaspora who purchase sex toys for their wives in other to prevent them from committing adultery

'If you are a woman married to a man abroad and he has purchased a sex toy for you so you satisfy your sex desires with the aim of preventing you from committing adultery, he is a fool.

Any man who asks you to engage in Skype sex is a fool and does not respect you. We need to respect women and it doesn’t take you anything to spend your last dime to come and visit your wife than to put her in the context of a sex machine.’

He added, that women in such situation are seriously suffering in bed because they have been subjected to bad sexual life like using sex toys on themselves.

In April, George Lutterodt who is known for making controversial statements on relationships, sex and dating said that any man who marries a beautiful woman suffers in bed.

No form of ransom paid for release of 82 Chibok girls - Lai Mohammed

Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture, has said that the federal government did not pay €2m ransom to secure the release of 82 Chibok girls.
A BBC report had recently quoted a source as saying that €2m was paid to the Boko Haram insurgent group during the course of negotiation.
“Paying a ransom as well as swapping prisoners was a sticking point that almost unravelled the whole deal,” said the source. “It should have happened sooner, but the president was hesitating about freeing the five – and especially about the money.”
But Mohammed told PUNCH on Saturday that only five Boko Haram commanders were exchanged for the Chibok girls.
His denial came on a day when 82 Chibok girls were reunited with their parents and 21 of their colleagues who were freed in October 2016.
The minister said: “I emphatically deny on behalf of the Federal Government that any form of ransom was paid in exchange for the release of the 82 Chibok girls.
“Apart from the five Boko Haram commanders, the exchange of which we had already made public, no other concession was made. Any other thing to the contrary is absolutely false.”
Out of the 276 girls abducted in April 2014 from their school in Chibok, Borno state, 113 girls are yet to be released.

Meet the glamorous Scots twins competing against each other for Miss Great Britain

Glamorous twins Louisa and
 Christina Thomson love doing
 everything together.
The 27-year-olds are both nurses, drive
the same type of white Mercedes, share
the same best friend and often unwittingly turn up at the same places dressed in the same clothes according to Daily record report.

Now they will go head to head in the final of Miss Great Britain after each winning regional rounds of the national competition.
Both girls will travel to Leicester in
September to battle it out for the Miss GB crown. But they admit they each want the other to win.

Louisa, who won the Miss Stirling title, said: “Everyone keeps asking us if we will
find it tough competing against each other but we don’t think of it like that.
“We love doing things together and taking part in this competition is something we have both thought about doing for years.

“To be taking part alongside my twin sister just makes it even more special.”
Christina, who is the reigning Miss Dundee , added: “We both want to do as well as we possibly can but, if only one of us can win, then I hope Louisa is the winner – and Louisa hopes it is me.”

The girls, who live in Glenrothes, are the first sisters to take part in the competition in the same year. And they have
 sympathy for the judges.
Louisa, a mental health nurse, said: “This isn’t just a competition about how you look – it’s about your personality too. But Christina and I are very similar in personality.

“We like the same things, we often say the same things at the same time and, two years in a row, we have bought our mum the same birthday present without realising.”
Christina, who is a paediatric nurse, added: “We are not identical twins but we do look very alike.

“We are both naturally caring people and empathetic towards
others, which is probably why we became nurses.
“It probably won’t be easy for the judges.”

Christina added: “We’ve both always
been very dedicated to our careers but this competition will be a good opportunity for us to achieve something totally different.”

Jemma Simmonds, of Miss Great Britain, said: “This is the first time, as far as we are aware, we have ever had sisters in the
 competition, let alone twins.
“Both girls impressed us with their
personalities and we loved that they are
 both nurses too.”

Father, son graduate from University together

A father and a son graduated from a New Jersey university on Friday, becoming the first members of their family to earn college degrees.

"It was amazing," Benjamin Jeanty told Fox News on Friday, just hours after he and his dad, Duvinson, moved their tassels from right to left at their graduation ceremony at William Paterson University.

"Never in a million years did I ever dream of going to school with my father," Jeanty added.
Jeanty, 27, said he was a senior in high school when his father, a Haitian immigrant, decided to go to college, who was 53 years old at the time.
"He gave us the example that we should always look to better ourselves," Jeanty said.
Duvinson Jeanty, who is now 63, came to the United States in the mid-1980s and worked as a bus driver for the N.J. Transit for 27 years. He retired in 2015.

The younger Jeanty began classes at Rutgers University in 2008, but left a year later to work full-time at Smashburger. Three years later, he was itching to do something new, taking a cue from his father's advice.

"I starting making good money, and making money is cool, but how am I serving the community? How am I helping others?" he said.

Jeanty went back to college and enrolled part-time while working at a special needs school. Meanwhile, his father continued to take classes at William Paterson University while working as a N.J. Transit bus driver. Jeanty transferred to the university last year.

"I thought I was going to finish before him becuase I thought I knew it all back then," Jeanty said.
On Friday morning, they both got their diplomas — Ben in psychology and Duvinson in finance.

"Graduation was unbelievable. This morning I was getting so emotional getting ready and listening to my favorite song," Jeanty recalled.
Jeanty said he will be working full-time at the special needs school after graduation. His father, who is also looking to get his masters in finance, will be running his real estate company he started.

No Watford contact - Ranieri

Former Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri says there has been no contact from Watford over their soon-to-be vacant manager's job.
The Hornets announced on Wednesday that current coach Walter Mazzarri would be leaving the club following Sunday's final league match of the season against Man City.

One of the names being linked with the position at Vicarage Road is Ranieri, who guided the Foxes to the Premier League title last term, although the Italian says he is yet to be approached by Watford.

"No, but if I had, I wouldn't tell you," he told Goals on Sunday when quizzed about the Hornets job.
"I'm very surprised because Mazzarri is an Italian manager. The owners are Italian, I don't understand what happened but that's football."
While his next job in football remains a mystery, Ranieri says he is waiting for the right project following his success with the Foxes and that it could be anywhere in Europe.

"After winning the title with Leicester I have to do very well to choose the right next job," he added."I am a European manager and I have an agent in Spain, in France, in Italy and England so now I want to choose very well.
"For me the right project is important. Say everything clear and then it is important for me to link these things and then I go 100 per cent.
"We have to be together in everything. If I agree I give 100 per cent of myself."

105-year-old woman graduates high school

A 105-year-old woman has fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a high school graduate, CBS Pittsburgh reports.

Theresia Brandl put on her orange and black cap and gown on Wednesday, and received her diploma from Sto-Rox High School  in Pennsylvania.

Following the ceremony, friends and family threw Brandl a graduation party.
When she was younger, her family gave her an ultimatum: finish school or help her mother with the house and siblings.

Brandl chose to help her mother.
Brandl currently lives in a personal care home in Oakdale. Her secret to longevity is one a lot of Pittsburgh locals can get on board with.
"Just living, watching ball games and football games," she says.

The graduation was organized by Twilight Wish, which is a foundation that celebrates seniors and makes their dreams come true.

Wenger: We can cope with no CL

Arsene Wenger has said Arsenal can cope financially without Champions League football, but admits he is more fearful than ever the club will miss out this year.

Arsenal go into their final league game of the season on Sunday in fifth, knowing even a victory at home to Everton may not be enough to usurp Manchester City or Liverpool, both of whom have Champions League qualification in their own hands.

Protests have been ongoing from sections of supporters who want to see Wenger replaced in the summer, with marches and boycotts taking place in recent weeks.

But the Frenchman insists failing to qualify for Europe's top club competition next season won't have a disastrous financial effect for the club.
"It [the top four] has not the financial weight that it had before, for sure, because television money has gone up (in the Premier League)," Wenger said.
"Financially you don't suffer anymore. I was sitting here during the period when we had to pay the stadium back and the income of the Champions League was absolutely vital.

"On the financial point we are not in trouble. It's more the fact that we want to play in the best competition. Financially, no, it's not a disaster."
For the first time since 2006, Arsenal head into the final weekend of the campaign as outsiders to finish in the top four, when 11 years ago a sickness bug hit the Spurs squad who were then beaten at West Ham.

"So the fear not to be in it was less big. This time, we are less likely to be in it but we still can manage it only by focusing on what we think is important, which is to win the game.
"We want to play in the best competition and that's why we want to be in the Champions League. And we are very close as well.

"We are one point away. We have a possibility to do it and if it's a small one we have to be professional and do it to the end."

Falana Advises Osinbajo Not To Sign 2017 Budget

A human rights activist, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), has advised the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo not to sign the 2017 budget because it was illegally increased by the National Assembly.

He also said that President Muhammadu Buhari is not competent to sign the appropriation bill into law because he is on vacation.

Falana spoke in Ilorin, during a colloquium organised by the Movement for Genuine Change to mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of Kwara State.

He explained that once Buhari had transmitted a letter to the National Assembly that he was proceeding on vacation, all presidential powers had automatically been transferred to Osinbajo who is now the Acting President.

He stated that until the President writes another letter to the federal parliament at the end of his vacation, he cannot exercise the powers of his office.

Falana said, “The President is not competent to sign any bill into law while he is on vacation. The constitution did not envisage that a President who is on a vacation and an acting president, who is standing proxy for him will be exercising presidential powers simultaneously.

“To that extent, pending the resumption of duties by President Buhari, the Acting President, Prof. Osinbajo, is competent to sign all bills validly passed by the NASS.

“If President Buhari did not exercise powers during his vacation even though he was in the country, why would he want to do so while he is on medical vacation abroad?

“Instead of dissipating energy over the competence of an appropriation bill signed into law by the Acting President, Nigerians should subject the 2017 budget to scrutiny.

“We are therefore calling on the Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who is a professor of law not to endorse and sign the illegal appropriation bill of 2017 into law.”

Falana also explained that the National Assembly has no constitutional powers to increase the budget presented by Buhari.

He said the legislators erred constitutionally by increasing their share of the budget.

He also said the debate over Buhari’s medical vacation should henceforth centre on the urgent need for the Federal Government to equip  hospitals across the country.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria condemned any attempt to truncate Nigeria’s democracy and urged Buratai to properly investigate the coup rumour and prosecute the culprits.

He said, “The enemies of democracy are desperately trying to exploit President Buhari’s ill health to truncate the democratic dispensation.

“Notwithstanding, the glaring shortcomings of the fragile democratic process, the people should be allowed to take advantage of the democratic structures to take their political destiny in their own hands. On their own part, the political class should stop playing into the hands of potential coup plotters.

“While the decision of the Army chief to alert the nation of the devilish plot is appreciated, the authorites should proceed to fish out the coup plotters and their civilian collaborators with a view to trying them for treasonable felony.”

The human rights activist lauded the establishment of interest free banks, adding that those who are opposed to it should rather establish their own interest free bank. He stated that interest-free banks would compel commercial banks to reduce their interest rates on borrowers.

He also lamented the abject poverty in the country and called for better economic blueprint and management that would boost the economy.

He urged the Federal Government to stop releasing funds to state governments which are unable to account for the bailout funds and London/Paris Club loan refund made available to them to fund the payment of salaries of workers and other developmental projects.

He said the anti-graft agencies have a duty to investigate and bring to book those who were alleged to have cornered and diverted the public funds.

He called on labour unions to ensure that the funds were fully accounted for as it was meant to alleviate the sufferings of the working people.
