Omg! Activists blocks London Stansted Airport runway to stop deportation flight to Nigeria and Ghana

Activists took to the runway at London Stansted Airport yesterday night, March 28th, blockading a flight filled with asylum seekers being deported to Nigeria and Ghana.

The activists numbering about 14 took to the tarmac at the airport in an attempt to stop the flight.

Using tubes and chains, the campaigners including members of the Lesbians and Gay Support the Migrants group,  locked on to each other and a pyramid structure and refused to leave the runway until the flight is cancelled.
Many of those on board claim their lives will be in danger should their return go ahead. Among those due to board are a 21-year-old asylum seeker who claimed his brother and grandfather were killed in Nigeria.
"Both of my parents are in the UK, they are British. I have been here, with them for over 5 years but the Home Office wants to send me back to Nigeria. They say I cannot stay here with my parents anymore. My brothers are here. I am in fear to go back to Nigeria. They killed my grandfather."
Another woman with British parents who is also on the flight said she has no family in Nigeria and says that a doctor has declared her unfit to fly.
Speaking to reporters, Emma Hughes, an activist with End Deportations, who is one of the activists that blockaded the runway ssaid she has put her body on the line to stop a "brutal system" that's tearing communities and families apart"
"We 've taken this action because many people on this flight are being placed in serious danger by being callously deported back to Nigeria and Ghana. There's been a lot of attention recently on Trump's racist Muslim ban, but what's happening in the Uk is equally repellant." she said.
"People are being rounded up in the middle of the night based on their perceived nationality, forced on to planes in undisclosed locations and strapped down in their seats with no one witnessing the violence they are facing. Do we really want to live in the sort of society where theses violent and secretive mass deportations are being normalised?" she added.

Shocking! Nigerian doctor wrongly accused by patient speaks out after UK court overturned his suspension

A Nigerian doctor, who has been involved in a four-year ordeal after being accused of mistreating patients at a surgery has spoken of the effect the case has had on his family.

Dr Abiodun Bale has been told by the Court of Appeal he was free to return to work after a top judge overturned his suspension on Monday, March 28th.

Dr. Bale, who at the time lived in Moston, Manchester, was accused of behaving inappropriately after a female patient identified as Maria Hindle claimed he had grabbed her arm during a consultation and raised his voice to her at Hyndburn Medical Practice in Oswaldtwistle in 2013.

The 45-year-old was training to be a GP at the Hyndburn Medical Practice in Acrington, when the allegations were first made in 2013. He was found guilty of assaulting the patient at Burnley Crown Court in 2014, but was later cleared of any wrongdoing following an appeal.

However, he was suspended from practice for nine months by a Medical Practitioners' Tribunal Service (MPTS) panel iin July 2016. The panel concluded he had behaved inappropriately towards the woman and to a second female patient, and also lied during his trial.

Mr Justice Collins told the court there had never been any criticism of Dr Bale’s skills as a doctor and that it would be wrong to take any further action against him.
"I should say there is no indication that, before or since these events, he has behaved in any way which would be contrary to good practice as a doctor and there is no suggestion he is anything other than a competent practitioner." the judge added
But, allowing his appeal and lifting his suspension, Mr Justice Collins ruled the panel was wrong to conclude his denial was “tantamount to perjury”.
"The tribunal was indeed wrong to find that what he had done was dishonest, or that he had committed perjury before the criminal courts. In the circumstances of this case, having regard in particular to the suspension he has already served, it would be wrong to do other than take no action against him"
But the Lagos-trained GP said a crown court trial, medical tribunals and the appeal have taken its toll on the wellbeing of himself and his wife and family.

The doctor maintained his innocence throughout the various proceedings and has now been given the all-clear by the appeal courts to continue his carer. He no longer wants to be a GP but is a qualified specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology.
"There have been great physical, psychological, social and financial consequences of this case for me. My family and I have been put through unwarranted misery. Nobody should have to go through this.
"It is a wonderful concept in civilised societies like ours to protect patients, but somebody should also be looking out for doctors who have unfortunately found themselves in situations like mine."
He believes he has been 'let down by the system' as well as having to pay a heavy price financially to re-establish his right to practice. But he is glad 'commons sense' prevailed in the end.
Dr Bale added:
“The last four years have been a horrible ordeal professionally and the last eight months have been unspeakably stressful for my wife, kids, our extended families and for me"

Nigerian - born Lesbian asylum seeker, claims ex-husband will kill her if Britain deports her to Nigeria

Nigerian woman held at Britain’s immigration detention center has pleaded with the authorities not to send her back to her home country, where her ex-husband is allegedly waiting to kill her.

The unnamed mother-of-four, who came to Britain seeking asylum after allegedly being persecuted in Nigeria for being a lesbian, shared details of her ordeal  with Detained Voices ahead of her scheduled deportation next week.

"I claimed asylum which was refused because of my sexuality. I am a lesbian which is not ok in Nigeria,” the woman said.
“Last week my friend called from Nigeria, she is looking after my four children in Nigeria. My ex-husband called her, he is trying to take my children away from her. She has been forced to leave their home with my children.
“My ex-husband said he knows I am being deported next week. He is waiting for me. He is planning to kill me.”
The woman, who has been in detention since September, claimed she was forced into marrying the man and had to hide her sexuality for years.

She was detained after living in London for six years. Her local MP is said to have been in contact with the Home Office, but to no avail.

Successful asylum seekers are granted a five-year refugee status by the UK Border Agency. The application is reviewed after that time and can be refused if the Home Office decides that circumstances in the country of origin are no longer threatening to the person seeking asylum.
“I have been living a miserable life since I was born, because I have to hide my sexuality. I cannot be free. I thought in UK I would be able to be lesbian and live free. But now they are trying to deport me to a country where I will not be safe because of my sexuality,” the woman added.
A Home Office spokesman who spoke to RT said:
“We do not routinely comment on individual cases. Every claim for asylum in the UK is carefully considered on its individual merit"

The National Passport Of Malaysia Is Printed In Malaysia While The National Passport Of Nigeria Is Printed In Malaysia And Database Is Also In Malaysia, Not In Custody Of Nigerians

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) is not in charge of the country’s e-passport central database where all travel documents of its citizens are stored.
Investigations by LEADERSHIP has revealed that over ten years after the federal government, through the NIS, entered into a public private partnership with a Malaysian based firm, Irish Technology Limited (ISTL), for the upgrading of travel documents of Nigerians to an internationally compliant e-passport, the Service is still not in charge of the central database.
According to experts, the development is a dangerous trend that puts Nigerians at risk, as their travel documents could easily be tempered with by a foreign firm that chooses to be mischievous.
The central data centre is made up of a central communication infrastructure, including a VSAT HUB and VPN terminal services.
It is said to run on an oracle platform with repository of all transactional data in respect to applications, rejections, issuances, cancellations, passport booklets, embedded chips, applicant data and biometric data, among others. It also has disaster recovery systems such as backups, media management, offsite data storage.
Our findings revealed that, following the partnership, the Malaysian firm, ISTL, provides and operate the technology, while the Nigeria Immigration Service only provides officials to register applicants, personalise passports, issue passports, as well as deal with day-to-day queries and manage the passport inventory.
It was gathered that even though ISTL designed a digital registration process which provides for capturing an applicant’s personal data in compliance with the specification of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) as well as the country’s specific information, the Nigerian Immigration Service could be left stranded if the system crashes, as it does not have back-up of the central database.
Though the agreement was originally entered in 2003, the project is said to have been running successfully since 2007 to date, with more than 3.5 million passports issued. The daily rate of issuance stands at 5,000, with some registration office dealing with more than 700 applications per day.
There is growing concern in the NIS that allowing the sole responsibility of operating the central database in a private hand could pave way for fraud.
LEADERSHIP further gathered that, while the foreign firm as a private partner designs, supplies, installs, tests, commissions and trains Immigration staff, as well as operates, supports and maintains the complete system at its own expense, it only receives compensation through the issuance of the passports.
The development, it was also learnt, is what gives the federal government the insurance that ISTL cannot afford for the system not to be available or become obsolete.
It was, however, gathered that the registration systems are connected to a local work-in-process database to ensure continuous documentation of the e- passport applications in the event of any communication brake down.
Among the task carried out by the Malaysian based firm at the various registration offices are verification of source documents and approval/rejection of the application based on immigration procedure. Others include query station to resolve queries with regards to applications, lost/stolen/damaged documents.
A staff of ISTL at the passport production Office, Garki Abuja, who pleaded not to be named in print told LEADERSHIP that ISTL established and is managing the communications infrastructure to ensure real-time communication between the Registration Offices and the Central Data Center, the closed private VSAT system.
According to him, “due to the lack of stable data communication systems in Nigeria, a decision was taken to deploy a dedicated VSAT system at the point of implementation”.
He said ISTL rented bandwidth from a satellite operator (Intelsat) and operates its own VSAT hub at the Central Data Center.
He also disclosed that the hub provides communication infrastructure for all registration offices in Nigeria and Border Control Station at international airports.
He added that foreign missions are served through a VPN running on the World Wide Web (www) and are protected through an extensive firewall installation on both ends.
He said the communication system is designed in star topology with all remote offices linked directly to the Central Data Center. The central communication hub is operating 24 hours a day, 6 days a week and availability is above 99.9%.
His words: “The Central Data Center is hosted in an ISTL facility in Abuja, Nigeria. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week of which Monday to Saturday is operational, while maintenance tasks are done on Sundays. The facility is managed and operated by ISTL staff with Nigeria Immigration Service official to provide security and a compliment of IT staff that are trained on the systems.

“ISTL is implemented and is operating an integrated AFIS system. This system is monitored continuously to detect fraud and peculiarities and to fine tune the processes to ensure the maximum security. In line with this, hardware and software is continuously upgraded”.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has described its inability to take absolute control of the e- passport central database as a policy issue.
The Service’s spokesman, Mr Sunday James, who dismissed fears of possible fraud by way of tampering with bio- data on request, emphasised that at human level, the e-passport was error and tamper proof. “It’s very sensitive and of unique standard”, he said.
James insisted that the e-passport booklet and all its components do not only comply but also exceeds many specification of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) compared with the best in the world.
He said, “I can tell you authoritatively that due to our passport quality, we come second after Morocco and if there were attempts to discredit this very highly placed documents, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) would have since notified us.
“I make bold to say that those complaining are criminals who may have devised all strategy to hack into the Central Database but failed”.
Responding to allegations that it is the Director General, ISTL’s photograph in stead of the Controller General of Immigration’s that appears once the Central Database is opened, the NIS image maker said, “I am not aware of that.
“That must be magical, in fact, it is impossible. I am arguing because once a person’s passport is inserted into the system, it is the owner’s photograph that automatically comes up”, he added.
He also disclosed that Nigeria Immigration Service is presently operating 43 passport issuance offices in Nigeria and has presence in the majority of the 40 foreign missions.
54 Years After, NIS Reviews N100 Violation Fine To N1m
In tandem with modern migration challenges, the newly launched Immigration Regulations, 2017 which seeks to operationalise the Immigration Act, 2015, has replaced the 1963 prescribed merger migration violation fine of hundred naira (N100) with a N1million minimum fine.
This is in addition to terms of imprisonment, ranging from seven to twelve years.
Officially presenting the revised Immigration Regulations 2017 yesterday in Abuja, the minister of Interior, Lt Gen Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd) said the new document replaces that of 1963, following NIS’ quest to address operational challenges aimed at making the service responsive to global migration trend.
Dambazau explained that the revised document which contains 80 sections but divided into ten parts will enhance the protection of the Country’s borders against trans-national crimes , particularly, movement of terrorists through fierce collaboration with Interpol.
He said the regulation will also conform to the executive order on the ease of doing business in the Country.
The minister further emphasised that to achieve the aforementioned, plans by the federal government to introduce the use of biometric identity cards (BIC) as well as e-ticketing to boost advanced immigrants information was underway.
On his part, the Comptroller General , Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mohammed Babandede who described the achievement as historic and unique noted that until May 21, 2015 when the revised Immigration Acts was enacted, the NIS operated with the 1963 Act which was not only obsolete but grossly inadequate to contain unfolding migratory realities.
According to the Immigration boss, aside providing legal framework for effective implementation of the Act 2015, the revised document consolidates all existing Immigration Regulations.
He explained that the revised Regulation is a product of painstaking discourse which includes contributions from experts, as well as serving and retired Immigration Officers.

He further stated that the vital document updated structure and functions of NIS in relation to Immigration and general offences. -LEADERSHIP

Omg! See The Restaurant Where Girls Serve Customers On Bra And Pa nt

A newly opened restaurant has caused a stir after it proceeded to employ half-n*ked women to draw customers’ attention.
A hot-pot restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan, recently got a lot of attention online after photos of young bikini-clad waitresses serving and interacting with customers went viral.
The hot-pot restaurant business in Taiwan and mainland China is very competitive, and it’s very hard for newcomers to get an edge by relying solely on the quality of the food and impeccable service.
So the owners of ‘Fresh Feast’, a new restaurant that opened in the Songshan district of Taipei, decided that they needed some extreme marketing in order to get the word out about their eatery and attract customers. For the grand opening, they hired five good-looking models and had them serve customers dressed only in skimpy bikinis.
Their strategy worked better than they expected, as just a couple of days after the event, photos and videos of the beautiful waitresses went viral online, with thousands of people weighing in on the unusual sight.
Some loved the idea of giving new meaning to the word “hot-pot”, while others were complaining about how degrading it was for women to be used as advertising. But everyone was talking about it, which was just what the owners for aiming for.
Thanks to social media, photos of the attractive waitresses soon reached international audiences and got mostly positive feedback.
“I haven’t been to Taiwan. I think it’s about time I go on an adventure,” one Facebook user wrote.
“I need me some of that! Can someone set up a restaurant like this already?” another person commented.
And while this was just a one-time promotional event, one hot-pot restaurant Haikou City, China, did adopt a mandatory bikini dress code for its staff and got shot down for it last year.
Local authorities said that the approach was in “low taste” and went against Chinese socialist values.

Omg! See the Transgender woman dubbed "Toxic Tush" doctor jailed for deadly butt injections

A transgender woman dubbed the "Toxic Tush" doctor has been jailed for using Super Glue and Fix-a-Flat tire sealant to enlarge women’s behinds and causing one patient to die.

Oneal Ron Morris, 36, was sentenced to 10 years Monday in Florida’s Broward County court after pleading guilty to manslaughter and injecting several women with the toxic mixture, CBS Miami reports.

Shatarka Nuby, 31, died after receiving as many as 10 injections from Morris between 2007 and 2010. She paid Morris as much as $2,000 for the deadly procedures.

“There’s no closure. Putting [Morris] in jail won’t bring her back,” said Nuby’s aunt Juanita in court.
Morris, who is not a licensed doctor, combined silicone, mineral oil, Fix-a-Flat tire sealant, cement and Super Glue to give women shapelier backsides.

She previously served a year in prison on related charges. Several of her patients were in court for her latest sentencing, saying they became sick after receiving the bogus injections, which they believed were actually medical-grade silicone.

“You gave us your word that the products you was using was A-1 products. And come to find out they were not,” said victim Kisha Jones. “Maybe in the beginning, but greed really took over, because you was pocketing the money from every victim."

Omg! See Indonesian villagers cut out python's stomach to remove body of their missing friend (Graphic photos)

Indonesian villagers feared the worst after their friend went missing on Sunday and where they found him was horrifying. The lifeless body of 25-year-old Akbar Salubiro, was found inside the stomach of a 7m-long python, who had swallowed him whole. According to reports, the deceased was said to have gone to harvest palm oil, but never returned home.

Concerned friends and family who went in search of him saw the giant python in Salubiro’s backyard the next evening and feared he had been suffocated and swallowed. One friend who then used an 18-inch knife to cut the snake open found Salubiro’s body swallowed whole.
