Pep Guardiola, Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp, Arsene Wenger and Sean Dyche have been nominated for November's Premier League manager of the month award.
City won all four games in November against Arsenal, Leicester, Huddersfield and Southampton.
Guardiola, whose side have won their last 13 league matches, could match Conte's achievement from last season by winning the Premier League manager award for a third month in a row.
Conte became the first manager to do so after his side embarked on a 13-game winning streak on the way to taking the title in 2016/17.
Chelsea started the month by beating Mourinho's United and finished it unbeaten with three wins from four games including the draw at Anfield against Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp's team have also won three of their four games in the month with victories over West Ham, Southampton and Stoke.
Burnley also had a 75% win rate in November after a home win against Swansea and two away victories at Southampton and Bournemouth.
Their only defeat was at home to Arsenal after a stoppage-time Alexis Sanchez penalty.
After defeat to Manchester City on Guy Fawkes night, Arsenal won their next three games ending with a 5-0 thrashing of Huddersfield at the Emirates.
Jose Mourinho only won the Premier League manager of the month award three times during two spells at Chelsea where he won the Premier League three times and has yet to win the award while at Old Trafford.
His last came in March 2007 but he has been nominated for this month's award after three wins from four games following the defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. - Sky Sports

Wonder land !!! Man who raped female Unilorin student escapes from police cell

The Kwara State police command has explained how an Instagram user who allegedly drugged and raped a female student of the University of Ilorin disappeared from police custody.
Speaking to Punch in Ilorin, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Akayi Okasanmi explained how the suspect was arrested and how he disappeared under their nose.
Okasanmi said the victim whose name is withheld started a relationship with the suspect identified as Asiwaju Micheal after meeting on Instagram.
“We laid a trap for him. He called the lady at about 12.30pm and told her to meet him somewhere. Maybe he sensed that something was amiss. But eventually, we arrested him in a hotel and took him to my office. By that time it was late.
“I asked an officer from the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department to take his statement and he confessed. I collected one of his cell phones, searched and found some of the lady’s nude pictures in it. We made him to write a statement confirming what he did.
“Later, I left the SCIID officer to watch the suspect, while I went home to dress because we were expecting one of our principal officers from Abuja and we were to receive him at the airport at about 8 am. By the time I returned to the office, the suspect had disappeared. The CID officer told me that he left him in the care of other people. For that reason, the boy defaulted and he is going to face trial,” said the PPRO. - Daily Post

Overdue !!! Okorocha’s character shows government officials must undergo psychiatric test – Omokri

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, on Tuesday asked the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha to undergo psychiatric test.

This was in response to Okorocha’s appointment of 28 commissioners; including his sister, Mrs. Nkechi Ololo as Commissioner of Happiness, which stirred criticisms from Nigerians

Omokri in his tweet, said Okorocha is one of the reasons government officials must to undergo psychiatric test before being sworn in.
He wrote, “Rochas Okorocha is a perfect example of why all aspirants to high office in Nigeria should submit themselves to psychiatric evaluation!

Meanwhile, the new Commissioner of Happiness, Ololo while defending her appointment, said it was for the benefit of Imo residents.
According to her, the ministry was created by Gov. Okorocha not because of family relations but to help secure welfare of people in need. - Daily Post

Islamist suicide plot to assassinate UK Prime Minister foiled

Mrs May was given backing by Boris Johnson and Michael Gove to increase the bill offer

A terror plot to assassinate Prime Minister Theresa May has been foiled, Sky sources have confirmed.
Sky's Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt said: "It's the latest in a number of terror plots that police and MI5 believe they've foiled this year.
"I understand that the head of MI5, Andrew Parker, briefed Cabinet ministers today, such is the seriousness of what they believed they have uncovered.
"It is in essence an extreme Islamist suicide plot against Downing Street. Essentially police believe that the plan was to launch some sort of improvised explosive device at Downing Street and in the ensuing chaos attack and kill Theresa May, the Prime Minister.
"This is something which has been pursued over several weeks at least by Scotland Yard, MI5 and West Midlands Police.
"It came to a head last week with the arrest of two men, by armed police, who were charged with preparing acts of terrorism."
Naa'imur Zakariyah Rahman, 20, from north London and Mohammed Aqib Imran, 21, from south-east Birmingham are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on terror charges on Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday MI5 revealed that it had prevented nine terror attacks in the UK in the past year but several attackers have still got through.
In March, Khalid Masood drove a car at pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and stabbed a policeman guarding Parliament. Five people died in the attack.
In May, 22 people died when suicide bomber Salman Ramadan Abed targeted concert-goers at Manchester Arena. An official report into the attack released on Tuesday found opportunities to thwart it had been missed.
Eleven people died when terrorists used vehicles and knives to attack people at London Bridge in June.
A man died in a terrorist incident at Finsbury Park mosque in north London in the same month - and, in September, an attempt to bomb a Tube train at Parsons Green station failed.
Prime ministers have long been terrorist targets, though Downing Street is now well protected by fortified gates and armed police officers.
Security measures were introduced in the 1970s but were increased in the 1980s as the threat from Irish republican groups grew.
In 1991 the IRA launched a home-made mortar bomb attack on Number 10. The device landed in the back garden. The then prime minister, John Major, was inside but was not hurt.
The IRA had previously targeted prime minister Margaret Thatcher at the Conservative conference in Brighton in 1984. - Sky News

Loot and enjoy !!! Court Unfreezes 16 Bank Accounts Belonging To Patience Jonathan

The Federal High Court in Abuja has reversed its order made on May 30, to freeze 16 accounts belonging to the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience.
Justice Binta Nyako withdrew the order on Tuesday on the grounds that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) which secured the freezing order, failed to conduct a proper investigation into the case.
The court’s decision followed a move by the counsel to Mrs Jonathan, Mr Mike Ozekhome who asked the court to set aside an ex-parte order filed by the anti-graft agency.
Mr Ozekhome who confirmed this to Channels Television said that the court had ordered the EFCC to conduct its investigation within 90 days of freezing the accounts but that the commission failed to carry out the said investigation within the given period.
The accounts containing over $5 million had been frozen as the money was considered “proceeds of crime” by the EFCC.
The anti-graft agency said that the move to request the freezing of the accounts became necessary after it received intelligence report, which showed that the accounts ought to be investigated.
The ex-parte application to freeze the accounts at the time was supported by an originating summons sworn to by one Abdulahi Tukur, an operative of EFCC, and filed before the court by the EFCC prosecutor, Rotimi Oyedepo.
Prior to the court’s decision on Tuesday, there had been attempts by the former President’s wife to unfreeze the accounts and prevent the forfeiture of the monies therein to the federal government.
On October 5, Mrs Jonathan filed a N2 billion rights enforcement suit against the commission.
She accused the EFCC of violating her fundamental rights and demanded the said sum as compensation for general damages.
In the suit, she said that the EFCC had incessantly harassed her through negative media publications.

Mrs Jonathan further stated that such action degrading her person, as it resulted in her being branded as corrupt, without any invitation, trial or conviction by a court. - ChannelsTV
