It said Miss Sunday, from Ikot Udobang Ukanafon in Akwa Ibom State, was living with the deceased uncle at Ezilo Street, Independence Layout, Enugu until Thursday when the incident happened.
According Amaraizu, the girl claimed that her uncle, Friday Matthew, who was about 48 years old was fond of making sexual advances to her which she declined.

The girl then got up instantly and in a bid to resist the uncle, kicked him on his scrotum which angered the deceased who consequently became violent.
The Police PRO said that as the deceased was struggling with the girl, she headed for a stone near the door which she used in hitting his cheek.
“The suspect further disclosed that following the hit of the stone on the cheek of the uncle, he fell down and became unconscious and later died,” he said.
The PPRO quoted the girl as saying “it was not my intention to kill him as I never intended to do so although, he has disturbed me sexually several times.”
The Police boss noted that when the child of the deceased returned to meet the lifeless body of his father, the suspect ordered him not to shout so as not to attract attention, promising to take care of the young boy.
“She immediately locked up the house and went away with the boy and dropped him at one of their aunt’s place and disappeared”.
“When the police operatives of the New Haven Division command got the report, they swung into action swiftly and was able to arrest the escaping suspect who is now helping the operatives in their investigations.

Suspected billionaire kidnap kingpin Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike also known as Evans has told a Lagos High Court in Igbosere why his trial should continue in a court run by former Ugandan military dictator, Idi Amin Dada.
According to the wealthy kidnapper, the fresh charges against him are so ridiculous.
He said that only Idi Amin Dada can entertain them.
Evans prayed Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo to quash the twin charges and 11 counts filed against him by the Lagos State Government and allow him “to go home.”
Lawyer to Evans Olukoya Ogungbeje, further accused the prosecution of conniving with the court registrar to improperly obtain a document relating to the case from the court files.
He said, “Whatever has been removed from the court files should be made available to me.”
This was, however, dismissed by the judge after a strong objection from Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Ms Titilayo Shitta-Bey.
Justice Taiwo assured Ogungbeje of fairness in the trial, adding: “I trust My registrars implicitly.”
In the new charges against Evans on Monday, he and second defendant Victor Nonso Aduba are to stand trial on four counts of conspiracy, kidnapping and unlawful possession of weapons.
In the other charge, he and three others will face seven counts of conspiracy, attempted kidnapping, kidnapping, murder and attempted murder, including the alleged attempted kidnap of the Chairman of The Young Shall Grow Motors, Vincent Amaechi Obianodo.
The second to fourth defendants are Joseph Ikenna Emeka, Chiemeka Arinze and Udeme Frank Upong.
Lagos State is to call 12 witnesses – six civilians and six senior police officers to testify against Evans and Aduba for the alleged attempted kidnap of Obianodo.
The prosecution also listed nine exhibits that it intends to tender, including four rifles, two pistols, bullet proof vests, among others.
Evans lawyer argued that the third and fourth counts on the first charge relating to firearms possession and sale required the fiat of the Attorney-General of the Federation which, according to him, the prosecution did not have.
He added, “Only a court in Uganda, Idi Amin’s Uganda, will entertain this kind of information (charge).
“This kind if charge can only be filed in a court in Uganda.
“We are in Nigeria. I urge this court to dismiss the charge against the defendant and allow him to go home.”

The Ogun State Government, in conjunction with the Federal Government, has revealed plans to convert the family house of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti in Abeokuta, the state capital, into a museum.
It was disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, at the house of the late maestro located at NEPA Road, Isabo, Abeokuta, in company of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
The minister disclosed that the initiative will be known as the Heritage Museum, adding that it will be an inspiration to the youth.
He said, “It is laudable in the sense that this is one of the most positive steps to actually put our rhetorics into action.
“We have always said that one of the important assets we have is our cultural heritage, our history and this project, which is going to immortalise the Ransome-Kuti family, is laudable and admirable.
“The family, as you know, represent different things to different people, whether you talk about education, emancipation, music or entertainment.
“Therefore, this attempt by the government at immortalising the family by preserving and restoring the ancestral home is very commendable.
“This is the period we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the death of the maestro himself and I am sure this is within time, as the museum will be inaugurated very soon, probably next year.
“The emphasis of this government, whether state or federal, is that the creative industry must be turned into creative economy and this Centre is going to be a good model to encourage and inspire the youth.”
Governor Amosun promised to deliver the project soon, stating that Fela’s family was one of the giants that laid the foundation of a greater Ogun State.
He said, “All our icons have a special place in our administration. These are the people who define us, when we go out there and say we are from Ogun State. We can’t call ourselves who we say we are without those giants who lived before us. They laid the foundation that we are all building upon.
“And, clearly, the Kuti family is one of those illustrious families that conquered the world, not only Ogun Sate or Abeokuta or Nigeria . Indeed, at times when I am away in the US and I take a cab, the music I hear is that of great Fela himself.’’
“Fela was far ahead of his time. For us, it will be in our interest to let people know his origin, his root.”
The governor also promised to construct museums for other illustrious sons and daughters of the state in order to preserve their heritage.
A Yoruba man living in Brazil has been arrested for allegedly killing the wife of another Nigerian over unpaid debt.
In a video circulating online, the man was beaten to pulp by both Brazilians and Nigerians.
The commentator in the video introduced the suspect as a “Yoruba man that killed an Igbo man’s wife. The Yoruba sent Brazil people to kill one of Nigerian man’s wife and we are here negotiating on what to do to this young man.
“He killed the woman because they owe him small money. [The woman husband] owes him 3000 Reais that is why he sent people to the Nigerian man’s house to kill his wife.
“They were looking for the man to kill but unfortunately the man wasn’t at home but the wife was at home. The guy went to pick his children from the school. They shot his wife 3 times.”
The Yoruba man sent Brazilian thugs to the home of the Igbo man to collect the money which is about N360,000 he was being owed by the family, resulting to the killing of the woman.
The man was beaten and also apprehended by fellow Nigerians and residents before authorities arrived the scene.
Dr. Junaid Mohammed, a Second Republic lawmaker has revealed those who should be consulted to know if President Muhammadu Buhari will run for a second term.
The outspoken ex-lawmaker also declared that Buhari has not done enough to seek re-election.
He said if the President is nursing the ambition, it will certainly not be Governors that will declare on his behalf.
Junaid told Vanguard, “I have not seen evidence as a Nigerian, who goes to the market that the life of the average Nigerian is getting better. It is either these governors have their ambition or maybe they are beginning to think of what they can do.
‘’They are making noise as if 2019 is achievable on the pages of Newspapers. I have no objection to any politician having an ambition or a politician who is trying to play games with our own situation.
“In the case of APC, we have not seen any clear sign that they are serious or they mean business.
“There was a meeting of the leaders of the party in Ibadan, where Bisi Akande said the candidacy of their party in 2019 is an open one. That is a fair comment but for a Nigerian or an African, who is in power to come to say that he is not going to contest, I don’t know. That is not African.
‘’But as far as I am concerned, I have not seen rational evidence to the effect that somebody has achieved and therefore, deserves to be repaid with another term.
“Politics has never been a rational game in Nigeria. Sometimes people vote in Nigeria because of primordial sentiment and geopolitics. It is unfortunate, it stifles our democracy and makes it impossible to have a national dialogue.
“I have known Buhari for more than 47 years.
‘’Flying a kite is a legitimate trick. I have known Buhari for more than 47 years. I knew him in 1967 during the civil war. I think if Buhari were to fly a kite about re-election, I don’t think he would do it with the governors of Kogi and Benue states.
“There are governors who are presumably close to Buhari. They are people like Elrufai and if he made such a statement, it could be credible. The governor of Katsina State could be credible because that is Buhari’s home state.''
Father of the wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, Olutayo Soyode, has revealed why he dreads going to the Presidential villa, Abuja to visit his daughter.
The 74-year-old said going to Aso Rock was like going to jail.
Speaking with Punch, Soyode said his movement would be monitored and he would need to sign various forms before going in or out of Aso Rock for security reasons.
According to Soyode, “I don’t go there often. Going there is like going to jail, as far as I’m concerned. It’s like locking me up.
“The way you see me, do I look like someone that can be kept in one place and before I could go out, I have to sign papers and there would be plenty phone calls? I would just run mad, because I’m not used to such.
“I’m a free man. That place (Aso Rock), is a very good place but I’m not the type to live there, so I don’t go there often. Anytime I go, I do give them time, like telling them I was coming for two days.
” I don’t even live with them. Let us say we are in Abuja now, you possibly can’t visit me for this interview. They won’t allow you to come in, and if you have to, you would have to sign different papers.
The closed associate and son-in-law to late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, also explained that he loved to be free, adding that he was not the type to sit in one place and be watching television under heavy security.
“If I go there, I would be there alone, watching television. I can’t do that. I would rather stay where they can visit me and anybody can see me.”

Kwara State Police Commissioner, Lawan Ado, yesterday said the command had redeployed policemen at the Adewole Police Division in Ilorin, over an allegation against them.
He explained that some residents had alleged that some of the policemen in the division had been selling suspects detained at the station to ritual killers for N 80, 000 per person.
The CP said this during a visit of the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9125, Mr. Mbanefo Nnoka, and his team to the command headquarters.
He disclosed that, although the allegation was false, unfounded and untrue, the command redeployed the policemen to avoid needless rift.
He added that no one had come forward with information and evidence to indict any police officer in the state for selling suspects to ritual killers.
According to him, “But we have been redeploying the policemen there. More than half of them have now been transferred and soon, the other half will be redeployed so that even if there is anybody who is involved – which no information has established – we will at least remove him from the area.”
He urged Nigerians to cooperate with the police to fight crime, adding that policemen were friends of Nigerians.
Nnoka who oversees Rotary Clubs in 23 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, said Rotary had spent about $ 7.3 billion globally and N 300 m in Nigeria to fight polio.
He urged parents to continue to immunising their children against polio, saying it was sad that there were still some resistance against polio immunisation in Nigeria.
After Craig Shakespeare was sacked on Tuesday afternoon, less than 24 hours after his side drew 1-1 away to West Brom. Alan Pardew has emerged as the bookies' favourite to become the next Leicester City boss.
He has been out of management since December 2016 after being dismissed by Crystal Palace, but now finds himself the front-runner for the vacant job at the King Power Stadium.
The result meant the Foxes were winless after six Premier League games, and was clearly enough reason for the Leicester chiefs to dismiss Claudio Ranieri's successor. Other top contestants are Guus Hiddink, Gary Rowett, Nigel Pearson and Sam Allardyce
Ariana Austin, now 33, was on a night out with a friend when they were approached by Joel Makonnen in the Pearl nightclub.
Fairytales are not known for beginning in a Washington DC nightclub, but for this American woman it was where she met the Ethiopian prince who would go on to become her husband.
“I said: ‘You guys look like an ad for Bombay Sapphire',” he told The New York Times about their first encounter.
“Not even five minutes later I said: 'You're going to be my girlfriend'.”
What he didn't reveal that night 12-years ago, was that plain old Joel was actually Prince Joel, the great-grandson of Haile Selassie I, Ethiopia's last emperor.
The pair married in a lavish Ethiopian Orthodox Christian wedding with 13 priests, two crowns and a pair of capes on 9 September.
But after the couple started dating seriously, Mr Makonnen, who works as a lawyer, eventually revealed his royal heritage.
Born in Rome, his parents Prince David Makonnen and Princess Adey Imru Makonnen, had been forced to live in exile after a communist coup in his homeland.
His father had escaped the bloodshed in his homeland because he was studying abroad at the time. The family subsequently settled in Switzerland.
Mr Makonnen is related to Haile Selassie I through the emperor’s second son Prince Makonnen.
Art's curator, Ms Austin told the newspaper it is an “unbeatable heritage and history” that “combines sheer black power and ancient Christian tradition”.
The royal family traces its roots back to the Biblical King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.
Guy Gentile, Bahamas-based banker broke up with Russian model Kristina Kuchma over dinner at a restaurant over the weekend — and she certainly got her revenge.
He broke up with 24-year-old Kuchma during dinner at a restaurant after she asked for $50,000 (£38,000) to help start up a marketing business venture. They had been together for a year and a half.
Having already bought her a Gucci bag, a new iPhone, and Beats headphones as a birthday gift, he thought the request "blurred the lines" between business and romance, he told The New York Post.
"I said, 'You know what? You got the wrong guy. If you want a guy who’s going to hand you money for nothing, you got the wrong guy,'" he reportedly said.
Gentile claims she then threw hot green tea in his face, and stormed off with the keys to his $55,000 Mercedes.
The man, who runs a brokerage, told The New York Post that Kuchma drove his Mercedes into the backyard swimming pool and it took four hours to fish it out.
When asked about the incident, he said: "I must accept some responsibility, if a woman is not crazy, she doesn't love you. And I must've drove her crazy for her to have drove my car into the pool!"
Kuchma reportedly texted Gentile in broken English the night after crashing the car stating: "Lier! You told me you will help me to start a business! That were your words! Now you want to be an investor??? Well investor I have a surprise for you on a backyard, start with that investment idea first."
He said that his "heart dropped because of [fears she was inside]. I didn’t care about the car at that moment. But after I realized she wasn’t in it, then I start to get pissed off that she would pull something like this after everything I’ve done for her."
He said he came home the next morning to find his Mercedes S400 hybrid in the backyard pool.
"I dumped her. She dumped my car."
"I really loved this girl and would have married her, but she went too far," Gentile said.
Police confirmed to The Post that a police report was made, and Kuchma was the only other person with access to the car, according to Gentile.
Human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), has said the late Afrobeat maestro, Fela Anikulapo, remains his most interesting client.
He recalled that Fela used to walk up to him to inform him ahead of his plans to violate the law, telling him to get ready to defend him in court.
According to Falana, Fela had a penchant for breaking the law, but he got away with a lot of violations because he always prepared his defence ahead.
A video clip circulating on the Facebook captured Falana as saying this during a lecture organised as part of the activities marking this year’s Felabration and Fela’s 79th birthday, which was marked post-humously.
Falana said, “I was Fela’s lawyer and I can tell you here, he’s been my most interesting client.
“Fela, for many of us, had propensity for criminality – for many people. But here was a guy, Fela would tell you, ‘Femi, I wan commit this offence’. ‘Ah, no nao’. And he would say, ‘No, I am going to breach the new colonial law, it’s your business to defend me’. And as far as Fela was concerned, he would do it. And one thing I found very interesting was that he would have done his own work, all you then needed to do as lawyer was just to look for the law to back up his own defence – a defence that you cannot challenge in any court. And that was how Fela got away with a lot of violations of the legal system.”
He also recalled how Fela spiritedly fought the military and campaigned against the white colonialists by delivering lectures and circulating a book titled, “How Europe Underdeveloped Africa,’ among undergraduates in the Nigerian universities.
Falana said, “As an undergraduate, one of the most valuable books I ever came across was ‘How Europe Underdeveloped Africa,’ by Walter Rodney. Fela it was who circulated and publicised that book in Africa.
As far as Fela was concerned, that book had to be a compulsory read for every African undergraduate. You hardly would find such a book now. Fela would come to campuses with lorryload of books. Fela, in two years, delivered about 60 lectures on our campuses in the 80s, just to challenge Africans to drop our colonial names; to challenge us to decolonise our minds. Fela fought the African soldiers. Fela knew soldiers were a danger and Fela told all of us when soldiers invade a town, they loot, they rape, they steal and that, therefore, we have to fight the army.'' - Punch

The church is identified as “The God Spirit Touch Church INT’L” which charges their church member a fee before deliverance is made.
Freeze shared the receipt on his Instagram page and called on worshippers to follow the standard set by Jesus Christ instead of wasting their resources all in the name of searching for deliverance.

Fees are not limited to deliverance alone as it is alleged that they charge for almost everything the church services render.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has described itself as the “biggest mass movement anywhere on earth”, vowing to retain its name.
In a statement on Friday, the group said the proscription by the federal government cannot force it to operate under a new name.
IPOB accused the government of working with some notable groups in the region to “give the impression that IPOB is no more”.
“We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its leadership worldwide under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the prophet our time, wish to bring to the attention of Biafrans and the world at large that IPOB has never and will never change name because of kangaroo and black market order obtained from a federal high court Abuja,” read the statement by Emma Powerful, spokesman of the group.
“It came to our knowledge that some unscrupulous individuals and groups in our society have been paid by federal government, Igbo governors and Ohaneze Ndigbo led by Nnia Nwodo to form another group.
“There is no such organisation in place of IPOB.
“The fact of the matter is that the federal government, in collusion with Igbo governors, are using some individuals to give the impression that IPOB is no more.
“Nothing could be further from the truth. Our protests going on all over the world is clear evidence that IPOB is presently enjoying more appeal than at any other time in our history.
“Many more scams like this will be unleashed on the gullible in the coming weeks and months but we are not perturbed because we have machinery in place to debunk such nonsense as they arise.
“People are flooding to IPOB that remains till this day, the biggest mass movement anywhere on earth.
“The federal government, Igbo governors and Ohanaeze Ndigbo may form these mushroom groups once in a while but they quickly fizzle out as they came.” - Cable Nigeria
Klopp feels he would be an unpopular man if he adopted Jose Mourinho's tactics at Liverpool after Premier League leaders Manchester United bedded in for a 0-0 draw at Anfield.
United edged back ahead of Manchester City at the summit – their neighbours face Stoke City later on Saturday – but offered little as an attacking force on Merseyside, with the exception of Romelu Lukaku shooting too close to Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet in the 43rd minute.
Mignolet's counterpart David de Gea produced the game's outstanding moment when he denied Joel Matip with a tremendous reaction save, while Klopp felt Philippe Coutinho should have been awarded a penalty when he took a tumble in the United box.
Liverpool have now won only one of eight matches in all competitions, but Klopp feels their luck will change if they show more of the application that was on display against their old rivals.
"It's difficult to judge. I think again the performance was worth three points. We were the better side, the more active side," he told Sky Sports.
"United came here and wanted a point. They got it. We wanted three points and didn't get it.
"Everyone knows it is difficult when a top-class team like Manchester United has that defensive approach. It was a clear penalty off Phil.
"Let's carry on. So far, we've only lost one Premier League game. It's not exactly what we want but everybody could see we're not miles away from Manchester United.
"It's not my right to be frustrated. I'm sure if I played like this we could not do this at Liverpool.
"But it’s all okay. We have to deal with our performance and our situation."
Klopp cut a disgruntled figure after the 1-1 draw at Newcastle United before the international break but was unquestionable more upbeat on this occasion.
"There were a lot of brilliant individual performances in a very difficult game but sometimes to open it up you need a little bit of luck," he said.
"We need to keep working hard and it will happen. I hope then, for our fans, we can score a few more goals than today.
"I'm happy with a lot of things but I know we need results. We will get them if we carry on like this. It will happen." - Goal

He said that the suspects were apprehended on October 10, following a tip-off by one Hajiya Fatima who connived with the police in a plot to arrest the suspects.
He said, “We received information from Hajiya Fatima that someone wants to buy her baby. So we told her to tell them she has agreed to sell the boy.”
According to him, “The suspects bought the baby at the rate of N15,000 and paid N13,000 as part payment.”
Majiya said that one of the suspects, Itopam Pious, who claimed to be a nurse at ECWA Eye Hospital Kano, was arrested while trying to confiscate the baby from his mother.
The state Police PRO said the nurse intended to buy the baby for a couple, Mr and Mrs Charles Bob-manuel, who came to Kano from Rivers State to adopt a baby because they were married for 12 years without a child.
The PRO that the nurse confessed to having committed the offence, while the couple denied the offence.

One Udochukwu Iwuoha, has been stabbed to death by his landlord, Paul Oparaugo and five of his children who are now on the run.
The deceased whose wedding was scheduled for October 13 was stabbed repeatedly in several places.
The incident took place on Wednesday at No 50 Onumonu Street, Owerri, Imo state capital.
According to several sources, trouble started when Iwuoha confronted Paul who is a security guard at a branch of Guaranty Trust Bank, to stop rearing chickens behind his apartment as the smell and noise of the chickens were not good for his health.
The family, however, reacted violently, beating him up before stabbing him.
An eyewitness identified as John said Iwuoha was taken to several hospitals but he was rejected because of the nature of the injuries.
“The hospitals demanded a police report because the injuries were too much. Before we could get the report, he died.
“We have reported the matter at the Owerri Urban Police Station. Policemen came here, and his corpse was deposited at a morgue.”
The state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, who confirmed the incidence said he had ordered that the case be transferred to the homicide section of the Criminal and Investigation and Intelligence Department of the state police command.
A minor, between the ages of 13-15 was on Friday given over fifty lashes at the Cross River State Governor’s office for allegedly stealing a hand-set belonging to his teacher in Calabar.
The boy, who was completely naked, was whipped by a security operative attacked to Governor Ben Ayade’s office.
His loud cries and lamentations attracted workers and journalists to the torture scene.
The torture, which lasted for almost an hour, was put to a halt when the officer observed that the victim was weak and on a stage of passing out.
Sadly, no assistance came from any worker as the staff according to our findings were afraid to intervene.
For close to an hour activities in the office was brought to a standstill as the minor ran round the open area (Behind the main building of Governor’s office) where he was tortured.
Though, some mothers working in the office had pity over the way the minor was treated, and urged the security officers to allow him wear his uniform, the pleading fell in deaf ears.
“Why don’t they take him to Police station for interrogation rather than beating him mercilessly? See how they have inflicted injuries all over his body”, one of the women lamented.
On investigations, DAILY POST gathered that the minor allegedly stole hand-set of his teacher while the teacher (female) was teaching.
The line was tracked and the suspect (Minor) was arrested. Disappointingly, the father of the boy was inside one of the offices while the son was being tortured.
The boy who could not stand erect because of the beating was seen struggling to put his sandals and school uniforms.
The sister of the boy was not spared as the officer gave her two dirty slaps for failing to tell her dad about the attitude of her brother.
The faintly minor was whisked away to an unknown destination by policemen. - Daily Post
One postgraduate student (English Language) of the University of Lagos, Jimi Fatunbi, has been allegedly injured by two lecturers.
Fatunbi said he was slapped and stabbed by the lecturers at about midnight on Wednesday at Faculty of Education roundabout.
He identified the lecturers as Dr. BabawaleTaiwo and Dr. Israel Abiala, who lecture at the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics; and Arts and Social Sciences Education respectively.
Fatunbi told Punch: “I went to take my car from Elkanemi hall, where it was initially parked, to Henry Carr. While I was reversing at Elkanemi Park, I discovered that a vehicle was behind me and the occupants (lecturers) of the vehicle said I was obstructing them.
“Dr. Taiwo started banging on my car. I felt he wanted to damage my car and I stopped. I came down to ask him what was actually wrong.
“I felt that if I was indeed obstructing, since I was moving away, there was no need for the attack.
“He said I had committed an offence and he needed to deal with me, being a lecturer. So, before I knew it, his colleague, Abiala came down from the same car and started manhandling me. In the process, one of them stabbed me in the face.
“I was shouting until students came around. I eventually called my hall executives and I was taken to the university’s Medical Centre for treatment.”
He said the lecturers were interrogated by the university’s security officials after they were informed of the situation.
Public Relations Officer of UNILAG, Toyin Adebule, said, “I have confirmed it myself. There is one Dr.Taiwo involved and the case was reported at our security post. The attention of the management has been drawn to the case and we are taking action. It is still under investigation.
“The dean and head of department where he works have been informed and the university has requested that the lecturer should come for questioning. We don’t condone indiscipline, hooliganism and violence from anybody at any level.
“The university is taking up the matter seriously and we will never leave any stone unturned until we get to the root of the matter. It could be cultism, money or anything. We want to know what caused the matter and we will get back to you. We have asked the security to go after him'' he concluded.
Mesut Ozil’s contract expires in June 2018 and he is therefore available to talk to other clubs in the January transfer window, and could sign a pre-contract agreement in that time.
As he letting his contract run down to its expiry, and being heavily linked to Manchester United, Arsenal need to find a replacement for him.
Who better for an Ozil replacement then, than a midfielder with Turkish heritage dubbed ‘the new Mesut Ozil’?
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik (via the Daily Star), Arsenal are keen on young Turkish midfielder Yusuf Yazici, who plays for Super Lig side Trabzonspor.
Yazici, 20, was born in Trabzon and came up through the youth ranks at his hometown club, and has progressed so far as to already be a key cog in their engine — he scored six goals and assisted a further 10 in the Super Lig last season and has been compared to Mesut Ozil, who also hails from nothern Turkey.
The Arsenal midfielder was born in Germany and identifies as a German, but has great respect for his Turkish heritage — and although both players are from the country’s northern edge, their paths are separated by over 800 kilometres, as Ozil’s ancestors are from the west of the country and Trabzon is towards Georgia and Armenia in the east. The animals were allegedly stolen during an armed robbery attack by some hoodlums at a grazing camp in Zamfara State.

Idi was accused of three counts charge bordering on criminal conspiracy, breach of trust and armed robbery.
The police, however, said Idi was discovered to have sold the missing cows at Danmusa cattle market for N133,000, which he allegedly handed over to the cattle owner after interrogation.

The mother of the deceased, Mrs. Eunice Ihugba, told newsmen that trouble started between Raymond and Augustina because the latter was always making high financial demand from him despite his lean resources.
She said, “My efforts and those of Augustina’s relations to arrest the ugly situation proved abortive.
“Augustina poured the acid on him, set him ablaze and ran into hiding. Raymond was rushed to the Emergency Ward of the FMC, Owerri, from where he was transferred to the ward 10 of the hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost,” she said.
The traditional ruler of the community, Eze Charles Osuji, who confirmed the incident, described it as an abomination to the community.

The founder and General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, a.k.a, Warri TB Joshua, has shocked the world again when he prayed for a man with rectal mal-function in front of his members. The man who almost went unclad was believed to be tormented by a spirit. He had his penis controlled by the pastor before the congregants; as it tossed up and down inside his boxers.
Few months back, he called out single men and women in his church and asked them to select their partners from among themselves.
The Warri based acclaimed man of God had told his critics that they were indirect promoters of his ministry, stressing that criticisms spur and encourage him to do more for the people.
In the video trending online, the pastor constantly commanded the man’s penis and it obeyed, even as it tossed up and down to the awe of the onwatchers.
The man’s manhood protruded to an outrageous limit in front of the members.
Recall that the pastor recently prayed for an obese woman to lose weight, with no visible result at the end.
Again, one person has been confirmed dead and 19 others have been injured as a boat conveying over 20 passengers capsized on Lagos waterways on Tuesday.
The incidence was said to have happened on the 3rd Mainland Bridge axis of the waterways.
The Managing Director, Lagos State Waterways Authority, Damilola Emmanuel confirmed the death of the passenger.
Those rescued had been rushed to the Ebute-Ero Jetty while the search for the remaining victims was still ongoing.
The passenger who lost his life in the mishap was said to have sunk with the carcass of the boat while investigations still ongoing to unravel the cause of the accident.
He said that the Government would stop at nothing to ensure that operators adhere to the safety standards.
The LASWA MD said, “Being a developing sector, one of the things that LASWA has had to do is to be very strict on enforcement. Enforcement is going to be an ongoing thing because you would constantly have those people who are going to default.”
According to him, “In terms of clamping down on jetties that are substandard is something that LASWA has been looking to go round the state to clamp down on illegal jetties.”
The Lagos State Government had last Wednesday said that it has stepped up efforts to clamp down on illegal jetty and boat operators in the State in a renewed effort to stem the tide of boat mishaps often caused by illegal operations on the inland waterways.
Emmanuel said that strict enforcement will be meticulously carried out across the State.
