Liverpool have made it clear that they will not accept a bid for Sadio Mane this summer, regardless of the price.
The Senegal forward has been in elective form in recent months, scoring 11 times since the turn of the year, with seven of those coming in his last five games.
Such has his form for the Reds been impressive that he has once again been linked with a move to Real Madrid, where manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly a long-term admirer.
As such, Real Madrid have apparently identified Mane as a key target in a planned squad overhaul at the Bernabeu this summer.
However, Mane signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool in November, tying him to the club until 2023, and the Reds have no interest in seeing that deal cut short.
According to Mirror Sport, this means that the Reds will turn down any and all offers they receive for the former Southampton man this summer.
Mane doesn’t have a buyout clause in his contract with Liverpool, and the club also don’t believe he will try to push for a move once the season ends.
