Chelsea star, Mateo Kovacic has finally decided not to leave the club this summer transfer window.
Kovacic joined Chelsea on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid last year.
The midfielder has already been told that he will not be in Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane’s plans next season.
However, Goal reports that Kovacic has now decided to remain at Stamford Bridge after the end of the season than returning to his parent club, Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old has since established himself as a key member in Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI this campaign.
The Croatian international has featured for Chelsea in over 40 matches in all competitions this season, helping the Blues progress to the Europa League quarter-finals, where they will tackle Slavia Praha next week Thursday.
