Manchester United target Moura available for £26m

Arsenal FC v Paris Saint-Germain - UEFA Champions League

Even with Alvaro Morata poised to join the club from Real Madrid in the coming weeks, Manchester United remain interested in adding firepower to their squad this summer and have been linked with a move for PSG star Lucas Moura.

PSG are looking to bolster their attack this summer with some fresh faces and will need to part ways with one or two players in order to make room in the squad, and Moura is one of the likely candidates to be sold.

According to Le Parisien, PSG are prepared to sell the Brazilian forward for just £26m (€30m) this summer. Liverpool are also interested in the attacker.
Manchester United tried to bring him to the Premier League before he joined the Ligue 1 giants from Sao Paulo in 2013 for a reported £35m.

The 24-year-old was a key performer for PSG last season, scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists in 53 appearances across all competitions and can operate on either wing or in a central attacking midfield role.

Inter Milan are also ready to rival Manchester United and Liverpool for Moura this summer.

Manchester United to offer £40million for Roma's Nainggolan

Belgium v Czech Republic - International Friendly

Manchester United are willing to offer up to £40million for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to the Daily Mail.

Jose Mourinho is also reportedly willing to offer the star £125,000-a-week in wages after convincing the United hierarchy to make a move for him.
Mourinho is said to have already made contact with people close to Nainggolan to declare his interest in the player.

Roma could be prepared to sell the 29-year-old this summer due to the midfielder’s age as they look to build for the future.
Nainggolan has spent three-and-a-half years at Roma and rejected the chance to leave the club last summer and make a move to Chelsea.

The Belgian international was one of the stand out players in the Serie A last season as Roma finished runners up to champions Juventus.
Mourinho has, so far, made just the one signing this summer in the shape of defender Victor Lindelof who arrived from Benfica for a fee of £30.7million.

Mourinho is keen to make further signings this summer and strengthen his midfielder options and he would like to get the deals done before the club’s pre-season tour.

'Premier League right for Ronaldo'

The Premier League is the ideal destination for Cristiano Ronaldo should the Portuguese decide to leave Real Madrid this summer, says Raul Meireles.

Ronaldo is understood to want to depart Real having become angry about the way he has been treated by Spanish tax authorities.

The country's prosecutor's office in Madrid filed a tax fraud lawsuit against Ronaldo earlier this month and some reports have claimed the forward wants to re-join Manchester United next season.
And Meireles believes a return to the English top flight would suit the Real forward.

"Yes of course [he could return to the Premier League]," Meireles told  News HQ.
"He was very successful in the Premier League so I think that if he does not want to stay at Real Madrid, or he wants to leave, then the Premier League is the right place for him to be."

However, the former Portugal international - who will be back in action this summer to help his country compete at the Star Sixes - believes his compatriot would grace any team in the Premier League.
"He played before at Manchester United, so it could be them, but I think any team… Chelsea? I do not know, but he can play for any team in the Premier League."

Ronaldo will hold talks about his future with Madrid president Florentino Perez only after the Confederations Cup, according to Sky sources.
Portugal take on Chile in the semi-finals of the competition in Kazan on Wednesday night.

Adeyemi set for Norwich or Ipswich move

Rotherham manager Paul Warne says that he expects Tom Adeyemi to sign for Norwich or Ipswich this summer.

Adeyemi has been released by Championship side Cardiff City and is now looking for a new club for next season.
Both Norwich and Ipswich have been touted with interest, with Warne seemingly confirming that now.

Warne says that he wanted to bring Adeyemi to Rotherham but the central midfielder wants to move to a Championship club.
Rotherham finished bottom of the Championship last season and will be plying their trade in League One next season.

As quoted by the EDP, Warne said this:
“I offered him a brilliant deal. He wants to stay in the Championship.”
“He’s hoping to get it sorted this week. I reckon he will be going to Norwich or Ipswich. I’d still take him if I could. He brings goals to the team.”
Adeyemi spent last season on loan to Warne’s side, scoring six times in 29 Championship outings.
Despite his impressive season for the club, Cardiff opted to not renew his contract.

Now he looks set to choose between Norwich and Ipswich. Given that he came through the Norwich academy and spent 13 years with the club, joining the Canaries looks to be his most likely destination.

Liverpool willing to sell Lazar Markovic for £12million

Hull City v Sunderland - Premier League

Liverpool are prepared to offer Watford the chance to sign out-of-favour winger Lazar Markovic for just £12million, according to the Mirror.

Liverpool signed the Serbian international for £20million back in 2014 and the Reds are willing to take an £8million hit on the player and sell him for just £12million.
Marco Silva took the 23-year-old on loan at Hull City last season and he wants to take the player to his new club Watford this summer.

It is believed that Watford are interested in taking Markovic on loan for the season, however ,Liverpool want to get rid and sell him on a permanent basis.
Markovic has made just 11 starts for Liverpool and scored just two Premier League goals since his big money move from Benfica.

Watford could face stern competition from Zenit St Petersburg and Galatasaray for the winger’s signature as both sides are also said to be interested in the player.

Since his £20million move to Liverpool in 2014, Markovic has also had loans at Fenerbache and Sporting Lisbon but has never done enough to impress those sides enough to make them think about signing him permanently.

Google fined record €2.4bn for manipulating shopping search results

The European competition watchdog has fined Google €2.42 billion for abusing its dominance as a search engine.

The European Commission was prompted to take action after numerous complaints were made by rival firms such as Yelp, TripAdvisor, UK comparison site Foundem, and News Corp.

In a seven-year long investigation, Google was found to be systematically given prominent placement in searches to its own comparison shopping service and demoted those of rivals in search results.
The search engine has been given 90 days to stop favouring its own shopping service or face a further penalty of up to 5% of Alphabet’s average daily global turnover. Alphabet is the parent company of Google.

“What Google has done is illegal under EU antitrust rules. It denied other companies the chance to compete on the merits and to innovate. And most importantly, it denied European consumers a genuine choice of services and the full benefits of innovation,” European Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager said in a statement. 'Ronaldo is a smart a** - to me he doesn't exist!' - Vidal

The Chile midfielder has hit out at the Real Madrid star as he prepares to go head-to-head with the Portugal captain at the Confederations Cup.

Arturo Vidal has hit out at Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Chile's Confederations Cup semi-final against Portugal, labelling the Real Madrid star "a smart a**".

Chile secured a place in the last four with a draw against Australia on Sunday as they finished second in Group B behind world champions Germany.
They will now face Euro 2016 winners Portugal in Kazan on Wednesday, with Ronaldo having enjoyed a good tournament to date.

Despite speculation over his future and a tax case in Spain overshadowing the Manchester United man leading into the tournament, he has led by example for his country by scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Vidal, though, does not to have been too impressed by the four-time Ballon d'Or winner, and has hit out at his attitude ahead of their face-off.

"Cristiano is a smart a**!" he told reporters. "For me he does not exist.
"I have already told my Bayern Munich team-mate Joshua Kimmich that we will meet again in the final!"

The other semi-final is between Group B table-toppers Germany and Group A runners-up Mexico, who entered the competition as CONCACAF champions. - Goal.com
