Manchester United to offer £40million for Roma's Nainggolan

Belgium v Czech Republic - International Friendly

Manchester United are willing to offer up to £40million for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to the Daily Mail.

Jose Mourinho is also reportedly willing to offer the star £125,000-a-week in wages after convincing the United hierarchy to make a move for him.
Mourinho is said to have already made contact with people close to Nainggolan to declare his interest in the player.

Roma could be prepared to sell the 29-year-old this summer due to the midfielder’s age as they look to build for the future.
Nainggolan has spent three-and-a-half years at Roma and rejected the chance to leave the club last summer and make a move to Chelsea.

The Belgian international was one of the stand out players in the Serie A last season as Roma finished runners up to champions Juventus.
Mourinho has, so far, made just the one signing this summer in the shape of defender Victor Lindelof who arrived from Benfica for a fee of £30.7million.

Mourinho is keen to make further signings this summer and strengthen his midfielder options and he would like to get the deals done before the club’s pre-season tour.
