Do you know what happens to you if you drink too much and sleep through a date with a makeup guru? Stephen Hall just found out.
Unluckily for Hall, a Sunday morning of recovery turned into a major makeover session when his girlfriend, 23-year-old Natalie Weaver from Castleford in West Yorkshire, England, sought her revenge. Her weapon of choice? Makeup brushes.
"We were meant to be going out for the day," Weaver told the Daily Mail, after revealing that Hall, a plumber, had stayed out until 6 a.m. "He was so tired from having no sleep, he was falling asleep at every blink."
The best makeover subject? A sleeping one. Totally fatigued from partying, Hall didn't flinch once while Weaver, a receptionist, contoured his cheek bones, lined his lips and applied false lashes. I'll be real - he looks better in a smoky eye than I do.
The pièce de résistance, though, was a set of long acrylic nails that Weaver glued on - that's eventually what broke his slumber, she claimed. "He woke himself up with the long nails and he had half opened his eyes in the mirror," she said.
"He didn't think it was himself at first. I tried to convince him that he had come home like that."
When he finally came to, though, Hall, in an unexpected plot twist, didn't really have any complaints - in fact, he thought he looked downright pretty. "There was a lot of laughing but he wasn't angry. He is a lot of fun but I think he'll think twice before doing this again," said Weaver.
