West Ham consider swap deal for Inter's Eder
West Ham United are considering a swap deal with Italian giants Inter Milan for forward Eder this summer, according to reports in Football London, who quote Italian paper Calciomercato.
Eder, 30, has fallen out of favour at the San Siro this season with Inter looking to cash in on the ageing striker.
The Italian striker only managed to score six goals this season in Serie A and registered three assists.
Inter are reported to be interested in allowing the striker to join West Ham in exchange for Arthur Masuaku.
Slaven Bilic was interested in Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge but is not turning his attention to the experienced Eder.
Masuaku, who only made 11 starts in the Premier League for the Hammers since joining in the summer, has had a strong finish to the season.
The Frenchman, who is only 23-years old, has three years remaining on his contract at West Ham.
The full-back has a more long-term appeal than Eder, but Bilic is keen to add more goal-scoring threat up front and is ready to complete the deal.
With Andy Carroll’s fitness a major concern, Bilic wants a potent striker who can score goals and it is reported he believes that Eder is the right man.
