Arsenal have tabled a £22 million offer for Juventus star Juan Cuadrado, according to Colombian radio station RCN.
With the imminent signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, Arsenal are pushing to sign another attacking player with Cuadrado being linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium along with Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez and Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
After spending two successive seasons on loan at the Old Lady from Chelsea, Cuadrado’s move was finally made permanent in the summer, but it seems Arsenal are keen to add the Colombian star to their squad.
While Arsenal are very interested in Cuadrado, the player’s preference is to remain in Italy after having a torrid time in the Premier League under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea having signed in February 2015.
His time in Turin has been highly successful, resulting in two league title successes and reaching the Champions League final last season, albeit losing 4-1 to Real Madrid.
