Arsene could make a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema before the end of the window.
The report claims, though, that Arsenal will only make their move if Alexis Sanchez leaves the club.
Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer, with the Chilean only have one year left on his current deal with Arsenal.
According to Diario Gol, Arsenal could make a ‘last-minute’ offer for Benzema ahead of next week’s deadline.
Arsenal boss is still insistent that he will stay and is willing to let the forward’s contract run out at the end of the season.
However, if they do decide to let him go in the last week of the window, they will move for Benzema.
The transfer window slams shut next Thursday at 11pm, with clubs scrambling to get deals over the line and finish their business for the summer. - Read Sport
