Less than a year to 2019 elections, the unrepentant gladiators and spoilers of infamous PDP are regrouping and ganging up to take over power that they left four years ago after sixteen years of looting and commercializing corruption.
Nigeria has suffered a lot because of lack of good leadership since Gowon's regime. This is visible for everyone to see. It is very unfortunately that most of Nigeria's past leaders are forced on the country and not out of their own free will except Babangida who ended up as the most corrupt military ruler and destroyer of middle class citizens and wreckage of this beautiful country economy.
The only two people with sincerity of purpose close to clinching the position (Awo and Abiola) that fought to be president were denied the opportunity.
The worst scenario in the history of Nigeria till date after IBB's period was during the painful and sorrowful time of PDP government from 1999 to 2015. They have all the resources and best human capital still they can not deliver.
What did we get from these criminals, nothing but unprecedented looting of our common wealth, wastage, and abused of office across all tiers of government.
Billions of dollars were allegedly spent on power, works and rail transports through various Chinese companies in collaboration with their Nigeria counterparts. But we all know how these monies ended in various pockets from OBJ to Yaradua to Jonathan through their cronies.
Ours is a country of no consequences no matter your offense or crime once you belong to the ruling class and you are ready to do their bidding otherwise majority of PDP ruling class members should be in jail today. Clearly this is not the case rather they are all over the country calling the shots over unsuspecting public and the poor masses. The APC government that should have punished these people are now doing worse.
For good sixteen years, there is no single project in any sector of the economy that is done that has direct impact on the poor masses....no quality education, no good healthcare, no good roads network, no low cost housing in place and so on. The level of infrastructure decay is terrible and loads of money was appropriated and spent with nothing to show for it.
PDP government actually bastardized democracy through do-or-die approach to all elections, political killings was on the high. The country;s highest law officer in the person of Chief Bola was killed like a nobody and till date no one has been punished for this.
They upgraded election rigging to a new dimension and political bribery was fully commercialized and applied to the fullest where political thugs like late Adedibu, Chris Uba and others were behaving like lords.
Like we all know a leopard doesn't change his spots, PDP will never change, the party has in abundant criminals, looters, killers, forgers. Available information from EFCC, ICPC, police and media is adequate to conclude that 70% of PDP members are criminals while the remaining 30 % are potential criminals waiting to take their turn through 2019 elections. Majority of their ex-governors, ministers are facing trials in the court of the land. And yet these set of people are still aspiring to become president of Nigeria.

Is Nigeria under any curse or have we committed sacrilege against humanity that is not pardonable to the extent that God is using both PDP and APC as a punishment against the country especially the poor masses.
Understandable, the level of poverty is critical that people are tend to do politicians bidding because of N 200 — N3000 cash gift and inedible foods during elections and this has been going on for years. Now is time for Nigerians to break this jinx and vote in 2019 without any inducement. It is a difficult task going by what is going on currently in Ekiti 2018 Governorship election where both APC and PDP are currently buying votes. But this can be achieved through orientation and knowledge sharing mostly by individuals, INEC and other serious parties.
I can not continue to itemize atrocities committed by these PDP people through their various leaders and their cabal teams ... Obasanjo, late Yardua and Jonathan. Obasanjo is the worst among them, he never loves Nigeria and Nigerians because of his criminal supports for Shagari, Yardaua, and Jonathan through rigging and subverting the will of the people. He preferred to support a weak person and somebody with no leadership capability and self aspiration for presidency so that he can remain relevant with his fake achievements in the eyes of Nigerians years after leaving office. Just have a second view about these individuals personality and you will agree with my assertion.
It is therefore necessary for Nigerians to look inward for alternative and avoid voting for PDP and APC in 2019 election. Naturally, there is always alternative in life. This is the urgent step to be taken in 2019 if they don't want their 'suffering and smiling' to continue like Fela says in one of his popular songs. There are other viable parties with vibrant and young candidates.
In conclusion whatever the outcome of 2018 Ekiti governorship election results, the Ekiti people are in for a serious problem..... the Ekitikete people will have problem using one of trending slogan in Nigeria music. - Irunmole-nla
