Arsenal are reportedly set to go up against Liverpool in the race to sign Bernard on a free transfer this summer.
The Gunners are seemingly out to add further attacking quality to their ranks this summer and according to claims from Premium Sport commentator Andersinho Marques, they are one of three potential destinations for Bernard.
Bernard, for a number of years, performed at a high level for Shakhtar Donetsk before deciding against renewing his deal at the club this summer.
This means that potential suitors will have the opportunity to try and persuade Bernard to join them on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract in Ukraine.
Unai Emery has already insisted that Arsenal are unlikely to make any more significant signings this summer, but speculation continues to surround the club, with Bernard the latest name to be linked - Read Sport
