Antonio Conte still wants to add another forward to his squad with Diego Costa set to leave and Michy Batshuayi yet to convince the Italian he’s worthy of a first-team role.
A player the Blues have been looking at is Celtic star Moussa Dembele. The France U21 international signed for the Bhoys last summer on a free transfer from Fulham and hit the ground running, scoring 32 goals in 49 appearances in his debut season at the club.
With a return like that, clubs will be looking at Dembele and Chelsea are amongst the likes of Borussia Dortmund and West Ham chasing the striker.
French source RMC believe that the 21-year-old is pushing for a move from Celtic during the transfer window given the considerable interest in him. Celtic are ready to sell the striker if their valuation is met in full.
Currently sidelined for the next 4-6 weeks with a hamstring injury, Dembele may be forced to wait on his big move away from Celtic if clubs are worried about his fitness. - Read Sport
