Arsenal to offload fringe players to fund bid for Lemar

AS Monaco v Juventus - UEFA Champions League Semi Final: First Leg

According to the Mail Online, Arsenal are set to move on their fringe players to help fund a bid for Monaco star, Thomas Lemar.

Arsenal want to sign Lemar which will break their transfer record for the second time this transfer window with Monaco demanding a package worth £80 million for the player.
Monaco have publicly said that they don’t want to sell Lemar after both Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko left the club and Benjamin Mendy looking very likely to do the same but Wenger is not likely to give up.

Monaco have rejected two bids of £30 million and £40 million from Arsenal for the 21-year-old winger so Arsenal will have to up their bid even more if they’re very keen on snapping up the youngster.
Arsenal have had a busy transfer window already, by completing the signings of Sead Kolasinac from Schalke and fellow countryman of Lemar, Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.

Wojciech Szczesny, Carl Jenkinson and Lucas Perez are all set to leave the Emirates this summer as well as other players such as Kieron Gibbs, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy.- Read Sport
