West Ham agree €32m fee for Chelsea and Inter target

SS Lazio Pre-Season Training Camp

West Ham and Lazio have agreed on a €32 million fee for Chelsea and Inter Milan target Keita Balde, according to Goal.
The report suggests that the fee has been agreed but the two clubs remain in talks as to how it will be paid.

With the fee agreed, it is now down to the player, who was widely expected to leave Lazio this summer, to decide whether or not he wants to move to the Premier League or hold out for a move to Inter Milan.
The report suggests that West Ham, who have been in talks with the club for some time, are offering €27 million up front with €5 million in add-ons.

Wages of €3 million a year are reportedly on the table for Keita, who was one of the most impressive players in Serie A last season.
The 22-year-old scored 16 league goals in Serie A during the last campaign and also registered a further three assists for Lazio.

West Ham are said to be closing in on the £23m signing of Marko Arnautovic from Stoke but they could still do with additions in the final third and Keita would be a major coup, but it remains unlikely that the player could be persuaded to join the Hammers given the interest in him from across Europe.
