How Jurgen Klopp's new look Liverpool will shape up this season

Sydney FC v Liverpool FC

Liverpool are yet to make significant progress in their pursuit of Jurgen Klopp’s top two targets for the summer, Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita, with the Echo reporting that not even a world record £100m bid would convince Red Bull Leipzig to sell the latter.

Both sagas, as well as the proposed move for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, are set to rumble on but none are looking like certainties at this stage.
With Andrew Robertson also on the Reds’ radar as per the Mail, the below video looks at how Liverpool should line up next season.

It remains to be seen whether vice-captain James Milner will retain his place at left-back or whether any replacement signing for Alberto Moreno, who the BBC claim has been the subject of a bid from Napoli, will be thrust straight into action.

Klopp will also have an abundance of options in midfield with captain Jordan Henderson now back in training. If Keita joins, the Guinean will have Henderson, Emre Can, Gini Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho among others to contend with.

Reds fans will also hope Daniel Sturridge can stay fit and provide Roberto Firmino with fierce competition for the central striker spot. - Read Sport
