Despite already adding Dominic Solanke to their ranks this summer, Liverpool are still looking to sign a young forward if reports are to be believed.
Liverpool are said to be eyeing up a move for highly-rated Velez Sarsfield striker Maxmiliano Romero.
The Reds have had scouts watch the teenage forward several times and they are now ready to make their move for the Argentine.
Romero has broken into the Velez first-team in the last couple of seasons, scoring four goals in 24 career appearances for his boyhood club.

Premier League rivals Arsenal tried to sign the player as a 16-year-old in 2015, and were even reported to have agreed a deal for the striker, but a severe knee injury forced the Gunners to back out of a transfer.
The 18-year-old has worked his way somewhere back to his best form and is regarded as one of the best young forwards in Argentina today.
Romero would be unlikely to gain a work permit just yet, meaning if Liverpool did sign him they would need to loan him out until he secures one.
