Transfer news :Manchester United keen to sign Ryan Sessegnon

Reading v Fulham - Sky Bet Championship Play Off: Second Leg

Luke Shaw hasn’t lived up to his potential just yet since his big-money move from Southampton several years ago, and left-back remains a problem position for Manchester United.

Ashley Young, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian have all had spells at left-back but none have managed to nail down the position for themselves.
United could look to add a left-back before the transfer window closes next month and ESPN report that Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham, but faces competition from Liverpool and Tottenham for his signature.

Sessegnon burst onto the scene for Fulham last season and impressed in a left-back/left-wing hybrid role, earning a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Season in the process.
The teenager signed his first professional contract earlier in the summer but that hasn’t deterred clubs from trying to sign the England U19 international.

United fear that he could opt to stay in London should the opportunity arise
Tottenham have already seen a bid rejected for the £25m-rated fullback. -Read Sport
