A police inspector, Abraham Aro, who allegedly shot dead his senior colleague simply identified as Timothy, has reportedly killed himself by jumping into a well.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at the Police Divisional Headquarters, Kajola in Odigbo local government area of Ondo State.
The development has thrown the community into confusion.
No reason was given for the murder of the police officer by his junior colleague.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Femi Joseph, confirmed the report, saying investigation has commenced on the incident.
The police officer’s remains had been deposited at the mortuary at the General Hospital, Ore, after the Ondo Area Commander led a team of police officers to the scene of the incident. - The Nation
