Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola claims he is "happy" with his squad for the coming season, despite his club continued activity in the transfer market.

The former Premier League champions have spent over £200m this summer, while they had a £18m bid rejected for West Brom defender Jonny Evans on Friday and continue to be linked with Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.
Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker and Bernardo Silva are among a number of City's high-profile signings and Guardiola admits he is content if his side do not complete a further deal before the August 31 deadline.

"We try to build the best squad as possible for the long season. We are going to see how the market finishes," he said.
"If we have to stay with the players we have right now we are happy, if someone comes we are happy too."
The former Barcelona boss led Manchester City to an opening day 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend, and ahead of hosting Everton on Monday, Guardiola says he has every belief the club will do all it can to improve the squad.

"I know how good the club works since I've arrived here and we try to do our best, sometimes it's possible, sometimes not," he added.
"Every season I start I always believe my players are the best, but we talk with the club, with the sporting director Txiki [Begiristain], with all the players. Everyone has their own opinions and after that we decide what is best to make our club stronger." - SKY
