Ekiti: Doyin Okupe reveals where elections are rigged in Nigeria

Doyin Okupe, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the immediate past president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has revealed where most elections are rigged in Nigeria.

Okupe was reacting to the viral claim that the just-concluded governorship election in Ekiti State was rigged.
There have been allegations and counter-allegations of rigging and vote-buying since Sunday when the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, John Kayode Fayemi the winner.
In a tweet he shared on Thursday night, Okupe said, “Most of the rigging is done at collation centres.
“Let every polling unit send result directly to a central computerized platform that automatically collates results at state and national levels,” he advised. - Daily Post
