Abdullahi Adeka, the Chairman of Nasarawa State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has expressed optimism that Governor Umaru Al-Makura would implement the new minimum wage as soon as it is announced.
Adeka expressed his optimism in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Doma, Doma Local Government Area of the State.
According to him, the governor was among the first to implement the current minimum wage of N18,000 due to his labour-friendly disposition.
He called on all Nigerians to use the Sallah period to pray and work towards achieving sustainable peace in the country. - Daily Post
