Liverpool to benefit from Coutinho's Barcelona performances

Real Valladolid CF v FC Barcelona - La Liga

Liverpool are to profit from Phillipe Coutinho’s performances for Barcelona due to an add-on clause in the Brazilian’s contract, according to talkSPORT.
Coutinho sealed a transfer away from Anfield to the Nou Camp in January for £106million and has so far scored 11 goals and added 6 assists for the Catalan side in 25 appearances.
Having reached that 25th appearance landmark, Barcelona must now pay Liverpool their first add-on fee for the Brazilian, a sum of £4.4million.
If every add-on fee is to be met by Coutinho whilst he is at Barcelona, Liverpool will profit by a total of £36million on top of the £106million base fee they received for the player.
£17million of those clauses are believed to be relating to the number of appearances that Coutinho makes for the La Liga side.
Every time Coutinho makes 25 appearances for Barcelona, Liverpool will make £4.4million up until he reaches the 100 appearances mark.
Barcelona have also had to pay Liverpool £4.4million after the Spanish side qualified for the Champions League once again.
Should Barca go on to win the competition then once again Liverpool will be entitled to a fee of £4.4million. - Read Sport
