Arsenal have completed a deal to sign promising South African youngster Jayden Adetiba, who is just nine years old.
The Independent reports that Adetiba had a five-week trial with the Gunners whilst in his native South Africa.
The player’s father took to Twitter to show his son signing the deal to join Arsenal.
The nine-year-old had reportedly caught the eye whilst playing for local team SuperSport United Soccer School.
Despite being brought up in South Africa, Adetiba is also believed to have spent time living in the UK.
Adetiba, who is also believed to be an Arsenal fan, will be the latest name to join the Premier League side’s academy structure and may be a name to look out for in many years to come.
Given his tender age, it is going to be a while before any Arsenal fans see him turning out at the Emirates, but he is certainly a name to remember. - Read Sport
