Manchester City target Leon Bailey is eyeing up a January move to Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Football London, Bailey’s preferred destination is Chelsea, if he were to leave Leverkusen in the upcoming transfer window.
Bailey was linked with a host of top clubs across Europe over the summer, before eventually sealing a new contract with Leverkusen to tie him down to a five-year deal.
The report claims that Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are all also interested in Bailey, who has been impressing in the Bundesliga.
Bailey scored 12 goals in all competitions for Leverkusen last season and was the subject of a £53m bid from Bayern Munich earlier this year.
Leverkusen rejected their advances and the report claims that Bailey would, however, be keen to join Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea.
Bailey is also thought to be looking into the possibility of him representing England at international level, through his grandparents. -Read Sport
