Beyoncé And Jay Z Are Buying A $120 Million, Bullet-Proof Mansion

Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z have reportedly put in a bid for a $120 million (about £94 million) mansion in California, which - even in the world of celebrity real estate - is next-level fancy.

The Bel Air property has four pools (one simply isn't enough), eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a recording studio space, and a media room. Also, there's a garage that fits 15 cars. Oh, and also a spa. Oh wait, and also bullet-proof windows.

Naturally, the mansion (which consists of six separate "structures") is shrouded in security and sits on two acres. A source tells Page Six, "The house is beyond words. No expense was spared in design or execution."

If Beyoncé and Jay Z win their bid, their neighbours in East Gate Bel Air will be Salma Hayek, Tom Jones and Michael Eisner. The couple are said to be moving away from NYC to have more privacy, and are hoping to be settled by the time Beyoncé's twins arrive in June.
