Manchester United's players arrived in Los Angeles on Monday for their pre-season tour of the United States.
The team flew out having revealed their 27-man squad shortly before the confirmation that club captain Wayne Rooney had returned to his boyhood club Everton after a 13-year career at Old Trafford.
United's first game is against LA Galaxy on July 15 and one player that manager Jose Mourinho will hope to include is Romelu Lukaku, who completed his medical over the weekend before a proposed £90m move from Everton.
Lukaku has been on holiday in Los Angeles with United midfielder Paul Pogba and said on Sunday that he was joining "the biggest club in the world".
The Belgium international bid farewell to the Toffees on social media late on Sunday night, paying tribute to the club's fans coaches and staff over his four-year Goodison Park career.
Mourinho will want Lukaku to make the headlines for footballing reasons, though, after the 24-year-old was arrested in Beverly Hills on July 2 following police warnings over loud music at the same location in Los Angeles.
United's three goalkeepers David de Dea, Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira, fresh from signing a new United contract on Saturday, were all on the plane that landed on American soil at around 1.30am (BST) on Monday morning.
After the first match against Galaxy on Saturday, United play Real Salt Lake two days later before facing Manchester City for the first time outside of the UK in Houston, Texas on July 20.
United end their tour with clashes against Real Madrid and Barcelona, firstly on July 23 and then on July 26.
Victor Lindelof is United's only signing so far in the transfer window and the Swedish defender will be desperate to make a good impression in America.
Mourinho is also taking several players still battling for fitness with their rehab at United's UCLA training base.
Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, and Ashley Young were all on crutches in Stockholm in May as they watched their team-mates beat Ajax and lift the Europa League trophy to end the season in glorious fashion.
United kick off their Premier League campaign on August 13 when they host West Ham.
Before flying out, forward Jesse Lingard told United's website: "We're used to playing top teams in pre-season, such as Real Madrid and Barcelona, and it's always a good experience.
"Hopefully, we can perform well in those games and take good form into the new season.
"Every tour game is important, even if it's just to build match fitness, and it's good that everyone can get a run out and get a taste of what it's like and take that forward. "
United's US tour squad:De Gea, Romero, J Pereira, Valencia, Darmian, Fosu-Mensah, Bailly, Blind, Jones, Smalling, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Rojo, Shaw, Mitchell, Young, Carrick, Fellaini, Herrera, McTominay, Pogba, Lingard, Mkhitaryan, Mata, A Pereira, Martial, Rashford.
