Lucas Perez's future at Arsenal could soon become clearer after his agent flew into London and confirmed a bid had been tabled by Deportivo La Coruna.
Perez joined Arsenal from Deportivo for £17.1m last summer but made only two Premier League starts and did not feature after the 5-0 FA Cup win over Lincoln City in March.
He has now seen Alexandre Lacazette arrive at the Emirates to add to competition for places, with the France international taking Perez's No 9 shirt as well just to add to his frustration at life in London.
And with Perez keen to secure his first Spain cap, agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has arrived in London to speak to his client and watch this weekend's Emirates Cup.
"We have talked to everyone. Arsenal know we want to go, that there are no opportunities here, and within a year there is a World Cup," Lovelle said.
"Would you not be angry and sad and upset if you had your squad number taken without being asked?
"Deportivo made an offer a week ago. It is a permanent deal and worth more than Nolito's move to Sevilla (£7.9m).
"Of course (he was told he would play more). Lucas signed for Arsenal and was the happiest person in the world and with all of his dreams to fulfil.
"We have seen that every time he played he did well, but after every time he got fewer and fewer opportunities." - SKY
