Spanish La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna have made a “great” £10.9m offer for Arsenal forward Lucas Perez according to his representative as all parties work hard to agree on a deal, according to Sky Sports’ Chief Sports reporter Bryan Swanson.

The Spanish striker has grown frustrated with a lack of first team opportunities given to him by manager Arsene Wenger, who is adamant that they is still room for Perez in his squad and believes that he can help the side significantly this season.
However, the striker himself feels differently and wants to move away from the Emirates to ensure that he gets enough playing time.
He moved to Arsenal from Deportivo and is thought to prefer a move back to his old club, who are working hard to strike a deal with Arsenal.

Perez failed to make a positive impact in his only season at the club as he struggled to break into the first team. The Gunners recently placed a £30m price-tag on Perez, which has put several clubs off pursuing him.
When Wenger was asked whether Perez will be leaving this summer he replied:
“Yes, because we have a congestion of strikers. I don’t like to lose him because, for me, he’s a top-quality striker but we have many strikers.”
