West Ham are looking to sign Balde Keita from Lazio this summer, but now face some stiff competition from another Premier League side for his signature.
The Mirror understand that Tottenham want to kick-start their summer spending with a move for Keita who has earned rave reviews from his time in Serie A over the last couple of seasons.
Keita has just one year left to run on his contract with Lazio and is said to be keen to leave the club for a bigger venture elsewhere.
After scoring 18 goals last season, Keita himself is angling for a move to Juventus but with Lazio blocking that, Tottenham and West Ham are his only options on the table right now.
Lazio have fielded bids from both Inter Milan and Juventus that have fallen short of their asking price, but the Serie A club are equally determined not to sell to a direct league rival. - Read Sport
