Premier League rivals Manchester City and Tottenham are taking strides in the race to sign Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot, according to reports in France.
According to French outlet RMC, as cited on the Manchester Evening News, Pep Guardiola has reportedly met with the player himself to convince him of a move to City.
However, fellow French outlet Paris United claim that Tottenham are among teams looking to hold discussions over a deal for the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.
Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for Rabiot last week, with reports claiming that contact had been made.
It appeared that Barcelona and the Reds were in a straight race for the midfielder, but interest in his services has mounted significantly.
Rabiot is out of contract with the French champions at the end of the season and will be free to discuss his next move in January, should he not put pen to paper on a new deal. - Read Sport
