While one would assume that the royal family enjoys a rather exorbitant array of foods for each meal, the Queen's former chef Darren McGrady recently revealed that this actually was not exactly the case. McGrady served Queen Elizabeth II for 11 years until Princess Diana requested that he serve as her personal chef. He has also cooked for over 100 different kings, queens, and presidents, including President Reagan, President Clinton, President Ford, President George H. W. Bush and President George W. Bush.
The esteemed chef recently told WWD which foods the royal family favoured most—and some of them may not be quite what you'd expect.

McGrady revealed her favorite dessert is the chocolate biscuit cake.
Prince Philip
McGrady considered the Duke of Edinburgh to be quite the "foodie," noting that he loved to eat the organic foods grown from his garden. The Prince also enjoyed cooking venison tenderloins for the family while they stayed at the Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
