Chelsea target Jerome Boateng wants Real Madrid transfer

Borussia Moenchengladbach v Bayern Muenchen - Bundesliga

Antonio Conte wants to add a centre-back or two to his squad this summer with John Terry having left the club and Kurt Zouma likely to depart on a loan deal.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea did make an enquiry to Bayern Munich regarding defender Jerome Boateng, but the 28-year-old has his own dream move in his mind.

Spanish source Don Balon claim that Boateng is hoping to push through a move to La Liga champions Real Madrid, having achieved all he can with the Bundesliga champions.

Real Madrid aren’t that keen on the Germany international and would rather sign his teammate David Alaba but it’s understood that a transfer for the Austrian is unlikely as Bayern see him as a key player for the future.

Capped 67 times by Germany, Boateng is under contract at Bayern until 2021 meaning that he would cost a sizeable fee to prise away from the Bundesliga champions.
