Pep Guardiola has contacted Andres Iniesta over a move to the Etihad, according to reports.
The Barcelona midfielder is regarded as one of the best of his generation and had a great relationship with Guardiola during their time together at the Nou Camp.
The pair won three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues together in four years and now Guardiola wants to work with him again according to Calciomercato.
Iniesta has one year left on his deal with Barcelona and has yet to agree a new deal.
The Italian news outlet claim Guardiola has contacted the 33-year-old personally to persuade him to leave the club he has spent his entire career at.
