AC Milan have lodged an undisclosed bid for Torino striker Andrea Belotti according to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol.
The Italian club are enjoying one of their busiest summers after bringing in six new first-team players.
Torino striker Belotti has a €100 million release clause to foreign clubs, meaning Chelsea will be forced to match it if they want to bring the 23-year-old to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The new emerges on the same day that reports in Italy are linking the Rossoneri with a move for Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci.
It’s been a summer of spending for Milan, following their high-profile takeover, they are aiming to regain their authority in Italy, having not lifted the trophy since the 2010-11 season.
Belotti endured a fantastic season in Serie A last season, scoring 26 times in the league alone.
