Liverpool appear to be stepping up their efforts to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita this summer.

The Reds’ interest has been well documented in recent times and according to reports from out in Germany, an offer worth €65m has been lodged.

Keita enjoyed an outstanding season with Leipzig last term, helping them to achieve a hugely successful campaign in the Bundesliga. This has prompted the interest of several top clubs across Europe.

Leipzig have consistently reiterated their stance that the enigmatic midfielder is not for sale this summer, but this does not look to have deterred Liverpool as they hunt for a top target.
The Reds will need to cough up more than their quoted initial offer of €65m to land Keita though, with RB Leipzig ready to battle off interest. -Read Sport
