Cristiano Ronaldo failed to appear for his post-match press conference following Portugal's draw with Mexico.
The European champions opened their Confederations Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw in Kazan.
Ronaldo, who set up Ricardo Quaresma for Portugal's opener, was named the official FIFA man of the match for the encounter.
Players given the award are obliged to speak at the post-match press conference.
But Ronaldo didn't take questions amid reports he was "undergoing treatment" and only spoke to FIFA's official channel about the game.
He said: “It was not the result we wanted, the team had the game almost won and we conceded a goal in the last minutes, but that is football.
“We are calm and thinking about the next game. There are no alarm bells ringing.”
Ronaldo continues to be tipped to leave Real Madrid this summer after being accused of tax evasion.
He reportedly wants out of Spain with a return to Manchester United mooted for the Portugal skipper.Hector Moreno secured a point for Mexico in Russia as he cancelled out Cedric's strike for Portugal.
