Manchester United are reportedly considering a surprise move to sign Kieran Tierney from Celtic.
According to the Mirror today, the Red Devils have been keeping a close eye on the young full-back in recent months and are poised to make an offer.
It’s stated that United are prepared to lodge a bid worth £15m; a price that could prove to be too good for Celtic to refuse.
Tierney enjoyed a hugely successful 2016/17 campaign at the back for Brendan Rodgers’ side, and has been attracting the interest of several English clubs as of late.
The 20-year-old has also broken onto the international scene and has impressed while playing for Scotland’s senior side.
The report suggests that Jose Mourinho is keen to offload Luke Shaw and sign a new left-back this summer, and Tierney is a man firmly on his radar.
Although Celtic want Tierney to remain at the club for a further season, United and Arsenal are both interested.
