West Ham are interested in a move for Bayer Leverkusen forward Javier Hernandez, who has a €15m release clause.

According to Bild, via the Express, the Hammers want to bring him back to the Premier League this summer and Tottenham are also said to be holding an interest in the Mexican international.
It is also stated that Hernandez is looking to leave Leverkusen this summer as he seeks a new challenge for next season.

Hernandez is hoping his performances in the Confederations Cup for Mexico were enough to attract sizeable interest from Europe’s big clubs to secure a move.
The report also claims that Hernandez has a €15m release clause in his Leverkusen contract, which many clubs would see as a bargain for a striker of his calibre.

Hernandez spent five years in the Premier League with Manchester United, where he scored 37 goals in the English top-flight.
The 29-year-old has, however, scored 39 goals in his two seasons with Leverkusen – in all competitions.
